Toronto is 5 million people and NYC is 20 million, of course there is going to be more tgirls there.

Toronto, however is not the most expensive city Canada.
It does have the most expensive airport to land at in the world.

Fort Macmurray is the most expensive city in Canada.
      Followed by Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver.
With the boom in Sask even Regina and Saskatoon are becoming more expensive than Toronto. Hogtown is middle of the pack, you really only pay if you want to live in the core.

Toronto just has too many tgirl cliques and they all fight each other rather than get along it seems. The prices are all over the map and there is tgirls of every different kind.
Toronto isn't middle of the pack it is still the most expensive city to live in, in Canada.

Yeah but those are usually based on a family and include alot of stuff a tgirl escort would have to contend with.
Canada is expensive to live period, compared to many other places in the world and Toronto being the biggest city, certainly takes the spot light.

However to get a decent apartment in Toronto is easier and no more expensive than Vancouver or Calgary. In fact Vancouver is extremely expensive in this regard and Calgary just doesn't have any apartments really available.

Ontario has high income tax but you are not going to be finding too many tgirl escorts paying that. So you can take that out of the equation.
There is also very high sales tax in Ontario but i feel this is offset by the size of Toronto. By this i mean goods can be found cheaper there than anywhere else in Canada just because of the buying power of businesses in such a large city. Plus distribution costs are much lower. If you shop around you can offset the sales tax i think.

So for a single tgirl escort i do not think it is the most expensive place in Canada to live. Plus as far as escorting goes the market is far larger in Toronto, so that is a benefit too.

Also consider free health care in canada and I think free SRS surgeries too.

My understanding that in reality they would struggle more to live in NYC.

Income tax is federal not provincial so the rates are the same across Canada. Since they don't pay income tax in any country I guess the point is moot.

Mercer's index is very comprehensive, taking into account apartment costs, taxis, restaurants, food (grocery), auto (gas, insurance, registration, cost to purchase a car). energy, clothing, toiletries, cosmetics etc.

          This is a sample report.

I am not saying that they are or aren't overpaid. The market will dictate that.

Um you are probably not an account, I would guess.
Actually more of your tax dollars go to provincial income tax than to federal income tax. (check yer tax return, for the provinicial calculation) It's just that provinicial income tax is collected by the federal government. Provincial income tax is different in every province and Ontario is quite high.

As i said they (Mercer) do a good analysis but it is mostly based on a family and a specific basket of goods, which isn't as applicable in our case.

Yes it is expensive to own a car in Toronto as it is a big city.
However because it is a big city, you don't need to use a car as the transit system is top notch. So how much you spend on transport is up to you.

As i said before since Toronto is so large many goods are priced lower because of the large population and competition plus lower shipping costs.
Most goods are cheaper in Toronto if you look around than anywhere else in Canada.
Specifically cosmetics and clothes are much cheaper overall with a much better selection.

Things like restaurants are hard to quantify as the price ranges in Toronto are all over the place. You can eat cheap or pay more. If you go to the bulk food stores you can save huge over neighbourhood super markets.

Fort Mcmurray is the most expensive city to live in Canada, however it may not rate on an international scale due to it's size.

Free SRS in Ontario is pretty much a joke. Not only is there a big list of stipulations that need to be met years in advance, but you may be on the waiting list for years, then just forgotten.(Run by CAMH, so shouldn't expect better)

I have no idea what you're talking about. Toronto and perhaps Vancouver are the most expensive cities in Canada to live. You're splitting hairs.

The point is that as the da facto capital of Canada, this city has very few knockout trannies. It's a mystery why, except maybe any ultra hot tranny would move to NY only an hour away and make mad money.

No I am not a bean counter. But as you pointed out escorts don't pay income tax so the point is moot.

I am not sure how you can say Mercer's Cost of living Index isn't applicable. Almost all the items are applicable to single people and families equally. There service would be useless if not. You can eat cheaply or expensively and you can buy in bulk or from super markets in most cities so your point is moot.

No offence but I would take an in-depth report from Mercer based on fact before accepting your opinion based on conjecture on how expensive Toronto is to live in. You can't simply dismiss the idea of owning a car in Toronto because we has a transit system. One that doesn't rank internationally. How comfortable do you think it would be for a tgirl to take the bus or the subway? I am sure more drive or take taxis most places.

You keep mentioning Fort McMurray but without any hard data or studies to back it up. The fact is Mercer lists Toronto as the most expensive city to live in, in Canada an the 5th most expensive city in the Americas. Even if your claim about Fort McMurray was true, it isn't germaine to our discussion as there isn't a tgirl escort market there.
