Unfortunately got robbed this weekend at the event. I think I know who did it, and I’m disappointed they chose crime over community, but life goes on. Feel a bit sorry for the perpetrator, hard times. I appreciate they left my purse, phone and keys behind though and just focused on cash and cards because it made recovering much easier.

Anyway, lesson learned for me. I was a little too drunk that night and not paying enough attention. Not a knock on the joint at all, happens all over the city, but still worth calling out.

if my theif reads this (unlikely) I’ll forgive, but not forget.

Fraud claims got me all the charges refunded. So o think in the end I lost maybe $50 cash and some time. Plus police called me and said they apprehended someone who had my cards on them!

Life goes on, I was just silly for drinking a little too much and leaving my purse unattended in the back outdoor patio.
