I went to Goodhandys tonight for the first time and had something happen that isnt a huge deal but it bothered the hell out of me. I went for a dance with a very attractive lady (I wont mention her name) who began dancing as soon as we got in the booth with about 1 min left in a song. The next song got about 1 min in and was then cut off to start a song for a dancer downstairs. I kind of laughed and asked her if that counted as 2, expecting her to laugh and say ofcourse not. Instead she said she cant control the dj cutting off a song and yes that was 2. So 2 mins in she's completely clothed and I'm down $40, so I told her that was enough for me.

It wasn't about the money (I later spent a lot more with a different girl who was great) it just bothered the hell out of me. Sorry I just had to vent somewhere.

Yep, happens everywhere quite a lot. Here's a tip from a strip club veteran. First when you get to the room, just say "Let's wait for the next song". Especially when she starts dancing before you even sit down. This gives you a few seconds to sit and talk. Secondly, always tell her before you begin, how many dances you want. Some girls might pull the old "Want another dance?" after only going topless after one song. Hope that helps.

well, the girl in question was very surprised when I said thats it, gave her the $40 and walked away and I'm pretty sure she saw me go back up with someone else almost right away. So I'm hoping she saw that ya, she made $40 in 2 minutes but she could have made a whole lot more if she didnt pull that crap. For that reason (naive as it may be) I'm not going to post her name in hopes that she saw the error of her ways. If anyone really wants to know, message me and I'll tell you privately

The best thing to do is take control and set expectations. Like someone else said, when you get to the booth, tell to wait until the next song ends. Then say how many songs you will be buying. If you are planning on spending a lot, then negotiate and tell her $x for x songs. i.e $100 for 6 songs.

well to be honest it happens alot and pisses me off i know a few guys who it happened to and i find it extremely distastefull i know ive been an exotic dancer for many years and can honestly say my guys get more then there moneys worth when they ask me how many songs i tell them im not sure but you decide whats fair and im more then ok with that i wish more girls were like me in that respect.

Live and learn.
Almost all strip clubs are like this.
Each girl has the option not to charge you for a partial song.
If they do, I would probably act the same way.

Any stripper that wants repeat business will treat you right.
However they would not interrupt songs at a normal strip club for a special shows, as the shows usually go by the song list.
Goodhandys is not like normal strip clubs however, the music is not specifically being played for the in house dancers.

The previous suggestion of gettting 6 songs for 100 is good.
Or just don't start the private dance until the beginning of the next song.
Unless things have changed there, the girls are more independant and are not following strict rules like regular strip clubs. So they can make whatever deal they want, it doesn't have to be by the song, does it?

This has happened to me as well.

Not so much dancing right off the bat, but adding to the count. It's a huge turn off frankly and it has resulted in me being kind of jaded about the whole "pay for play" industry. I don't mnd paying, but adding to the count is a rip off and frankly quite petty. It's not like once you agree to the proposal - pay for play that she won't be making a hell of a lot of money on a per hour basis, but for some reason, many girls feel the need to rip you off.

I also must say that I find tgirls to be far far more mercenary than girl girls. With tgirls it truly is all about the cash and I have had many tgirls add to the count whereas only a few girl girls try to pull that shit.

I stood up to one tgirl one time at the Lounge and the result was just a tirade from it. Yelling, screaming, etc. I decided it wasn't worth 20 bucks and paid her her extra 20 (you know the old saying, "never argue with a w____"), but even that wasn't good enough and it felt the need to come over to my table 5 minutes later and resume the arguement.

Also, saying that you want 5 dances (say) isn't going to work either because she will just stop at 4 and say it's 5.

The only thing I can recommend is either keeping count as you go (which I've done) and stating out loud - "now that's 3", etc. after eadh song or going flat rate.

However, I was wondering what to expect - is it like the Lounge or totally different? What can I expect from the time I enter the door?

very different from the lounge, every time I was there the girls were all eager to dance for you, at GH you can sit by yourself all night, nobody will say a word to you, they all hang out together in the back.
I haven't been in a long time because it's no fun there
