Just to clear things up here ....
You got thrown out because a TS with more pull got you barred there. Not because you are Transsexual. She knows the owners, and you and her were fighting. I have told you in the past not to start fights with other people as you never know who they know.
Also, Transsexuals are often not permitted inside Straight Strip Clubs just as woman are often stopped from entering Gay Clubs. As for giving you a reason, a club or business has every right to offer service to whatever clients they chose. They could have said they don't like your shoes, don't serve people with blue eyes...whatever. So basically they don't have to give you any reason not to serve you.
Most businesses do not select their clients. Their clients select them. But with certain businesses (like nightclubs) this does often happen. So next time....no scene. When you are asked to leave, say thank you and leave...AND NEVER GO BACK. Why would you want to give money to a business that doesn't want you there?

Tasha knows what I am talking about.
I went for the first time about a week ago.
I walked inside paid my cover and I sit down getting ready to watch some muscle men put their junk in my face.
Not even a minute sitting down I have one of them coming over asking me to get up and go and I said why what did I do wrong I have never been there in my life. He was too much of a pansy to even respond to me.
So I had a little bit of a mouth off to the bouncer. He told me you can't be here, and I asked him is it because I'm transsexual. And he said yes it's part of it. And then I freaked the fuck right out. I got my cover back yes, but he told me that a group of transsexual's did something negative towards the place and that's why I wasn't aloud in.
Let's just say I hate the lounge if it ever opens again I will not be working there and to those two faggots they can choke on my dick because they are nothing but discrespectful discriminate faggots.
Let it be known if you are going to take me away from my two favorite things in the world big cock ,and muscle men... it won't be a happy scene.Shyla Wild

I really regret ever posting in this thread.
First. Lisa I am not the one who needs to get there facts straight that would be you making things up and posting them as fact. Goodhandy?s (Which is not a person BTW) Did nothing to stop this event. If you understood business you would understand that it would be in there best interest to verify information rather then going on Tranny gossip. They have a very good relationship with the club owners and Todd called to confirm facts nothing more! Todd has already explained himself in detail on this situation. But I will make it more clear for you who seems to only see what you want to see! The event did not happen because the guy was a flake and counted his eggs before he even had chickens. End of story.
Dita. The male strippers downstairs have nothing to do with the club. It is a private event and they are just renting the space. Shyla is correct when saying that clubs/events can refuse service to anyone for any reason. I really feel it had nothing to do with your gender. Sometimes it is best to pick your battles and walk away from the ones that in the end do not matter.
I do not understand why some people can not be happy with what they already have. There are 3/4 events for Trans people going on right now in Toronto. Most other cities do not have any events or a place to meet T-girls let alone a whole club were we are welcomed on any night. Not everyone likes Goodhandys and this is ok. But why would you want to support an event or give money to a club that only offers to host a Trans event for 1 night a week/month based on money only. They do not support our committee and we are not welcomed on other nights? To be honest they do not even like Trans people but love the money we can bring them. Not to mention that paying a cover charge of $25-$40 now a days is just stupid. You guys complain that only working girls go to Goodhandy?s, which by the way is not the case. What do you think the other event will be?
But you never know how good you have it until it is gone! The Lounge is a perfect example of this. Everyone complained about the Lounge and then when it closed everyone was so upset they did not have it anymore! Be thankful for what you already have and lets move on!Peace, Love & Sex is how I am spending my days

You really should not post your thoughts on Todd & Amanda?s intentions on any subject. You do not know there reasons or how they run there business. Unlike some, they are business people and do things that is best for there business & do not make it personal. But as we have also seen they will defend us girls and would rather lose money then have us treated poorly by the owners of any club. This was very much the case with Remington?s. That should really speak volumes about there character.
You do not know Todd and Amanda on a personal level therefore all your talking about is speculation at best. That can be a risky thing to do because some of your comments can & are coming across as very slanderers towards them & there business. You are also making this personal which is never a good thing when trying to make a point.Peace, Love & Sex is how I am spending my days

Location in this situation really has very little to do with it.

Who the hell puts the community in front of money?
Nearly No one.
Money is number one in the "community", sorry to say.
If another shemale strippers wants to open, they will.
It may or may not be in the same location, who cares.
Toronto does not have enough shemale events for it's size.
There is tons of room to move.

I'm the type that will put the community and the money on even ground. If it breaks even or makes enough to cover it's own growth and improvement then it is viable in a community way while being affordable..
If I was there I'd just open a private social club for t-girls..
A basic bar and get an entertainment license..
Underground would be cheaper but I'm certain that's a bad idea with trannies.. lol..
Get ratted out pretty quick I'm sure..
Something that is more upscale is certainly in order..
My fetish club here in Nanaimo was much nicer and in better repair (2 years ago). The private areas were also much larger and different areas had different equipment. Personally I like things to be fairly posh and hard seats don't cut it..
It's a tough go tho anywhere you try to open a club. Mine didn't fly due to issues with the building selling and the club not making enough money. After 6 months of losses and an issue with the sale of the building I ended up taking a hit of about $30k..
Not a big deal really but I could sure use that $$ right now.. lol..
I'm trying to sell the 4000W PA system tho.. if you want to rock your club with a sound system..
The speaker stacks can handle 5500w a side..
At 70% with the current amps the plaster was falling from the ceiling in the club and the dance floor was bouncing..
Zero distortion and no clipping..
It's kinda big in my dungeon so it's gotta go..

The problem with Toronto is they lump everything in with the huge gay community.
In Vancouver you will see more Bi - TG type settings like Celebrities.
However Vancouver is far more liberal than TO will ever be.
In Toronto everything is TG - Gay.
There is alot of segregation here comparatively.
The Lounge was unique in the past as it broke away from the downtown/church st. mentality for trannies.
The fact is, many will never venture to any bar located on Church st.
In the past I used to like El Coventro Rico club in Toronto.
It was really a Bi - TG type place with a latin flair.
You had to dress up to go there and gender lines were blurred much as they are in latin countries.
They had great shows and great dancing, plus it was comfortable for all.
Today it is not the same anymore, it seems alot like a new age Gay club now, TG's don't fit in so much as in past.
There isn't too much need for underground tranny clubs in Toronto since they all seem to hang out at the existing late night clubs.
Above ground clubs are more in demand I think.

I lived in both cities.
When I lived in Vancouver I worked at place that offered party nights as well as adult massage. Once I started advertising that I was working there days/nights there would be any where from 15-20 people. They also had females work there as well. If it was just a Transsexual there would have been maybe 5-10 people show up though out the day/week. I also only worked a couple of days a week because again the demand was not there. I also found most guys called or emailed asking if they could meet me at my home rather then the club. Most did not want to go to some where public.
The party nights we had upwards of 40 people show up. But these events could only be held once a month for a reason. There was not enough of a demand for it. Also, Vancouver is still back in the advertising in the paper days. Most girls who work there work daytime and want to party and enjoy personal fun at night. Yes, there are lots of T-girls who now advertise online. But it has not caught on like other cities.
I have also been to celebrities and you are correct it is very mixed. It was fun but hard to know who was into Trans and who was not. Also there were so many woman to much less guys. The problem with having so many woman competing with Trans girls is this. Guys who like transsexuals 9 out of 10 times will choice pussy first. They also will not risk anyone catching them going home or going after a Trans girl. I am not saying this is always the case but most times it is. Most guys would walk to the bathroom or away from the group and hand me a number and try to contact me away from the club. I am not saying all guys but again 9 out of 10 that would be the result.
The other problem I had a clubs like that is woman are the first to point out that you are Trans. They make a point of addressing it and making sure it is known by everyone who they are with and anyone who is in ear space. I have no issue with people knowing I am Trans (Most have no clue which also has it good & bad points) but pointing it out makes some guys feel even less likely to feel safe approaching Trans girls in the open. For me knowing people were talking about it like it was a shameful thing took away from my over all fun and made me very self-conscious.
As for Toronto. I have been to Goodhandy?s on there Pansexual nights and I have had a blast on all levels if you know what I mean..haha. If your looking for every sexuality & gender that would be a good night to check out. It is a very good mix of people that are there for sex & just to have a good time. Saying most will not go to a club on Church St is very incorrect and has been proven by the success of GH and GP. Goodhandy?s on a Thursday night most times is very busy. As well GP on a Wednesday has a lot of T-girl admirers show up or drive by. Goodhandys is also not in the ?Gay Ghetto? which makes it feel safer for most guys to go. Also it is a place where there are both working and non working girls there so you can sit back have a drink and be social.
Personally, I prefer Tuesday nights because it is more social. There are still at least 5-10 girls there but there is more time for me to talk to a guy one on one rather then Thursdays when like there ad says ?wall to wall T-girls? and is packed with T-Girl lovers. That night I find just to busy for me.
I think the end result is that not everyone is going to like this club or that club. There will always be issues and complaints like any business. But why people have to compare clubs or events is beyond me. There will always be good points and bad points depending on who you ask. I think we should be happy that we have a club at all. I mean 10 years ago we were lucky to have 1 night a week. We really have made huge strides in the Trans world and have more options then ever before. That I am very thankful for?Peace, Love & Sex is how I am spending my days

I said "many" would not go to a club on church st., not "most".
This is true.
My other point is Gay is more of a stigma in Toronto than Vancouver, probably because of the Hog town working class roots.
I am not really talking about competition with girls or segregating/showcasing trannies.
Toronto just seems uptight compared to Vancouver in this regard.

See Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
If said company were to refuse to admit the previous poster because she is a transexual, she could sue and would win (if she could prove that that was the reason she was not served. Of course, the bar could lie and say it was because she was abusive, or drunk or whatever. Mind you, if she was smart, she would have witnesses and a video camera.) That said, is it really worth the grief.
No different than say if a black person were denied entry into a restaurant because they are black. The logic is the same.
