As to the whole lounge discussion.....

I stopped going there for a few reasons.

1. It 's fucking dump. Disgusting washrooms that would make a pig vomit. Tired, worn out, dingey, smelly, all words that come to mind. I don't think that place had seen a cleaning in about 5 years.

2. You'd go in there and there were 2 guys in there. One would be asleep in his beer.

3. Too much drama with the tgirls who worked there.

4. It's a fucking dump. Oh wait, I aleady said that.



The only good thing about the Lounge was its location. Easy to find, easy to park, nowhere near church street. All good things.

Actually, it is against the law for a company to refuse to service an individual based on race, creed, or colour, or sexual orientation, etc.

See Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

If said company were to refuse to admit the previous poster because she is a transexual, she could sue and would win (if she could prove that that was the reason she was not served. Of course, the bar could lie and say it was because she was abusive, or drunk or whatever. Mind you, if she was smart, she would have witnesses and a video camera.) That said, is it really worth the grief.

No different than say if a black person were denied entry into a restaurant because they are black. The logic is the same.

Or they just tell the truth. They threw her out because she is 18 and the drinking age in Ontario is 19. They knew this because she was ratted out by other girl. So...I think the bar wins this one.

if they knew i was 18 then yeah maybe, but i found out that one of my ex's worked there seen me when i walked in and told them he didn't want me there, and then said to them that i was a big coke head to give them a excuse to not let me in there..

As for stopping being a certain way, I exercise my freedom of speech. Consider that a polite way of me telling you that I don't give a shit. You know that I do not sugar-coat things, and that I am VERY outspoken. Therefore, YOU brought the story here therefore it's open for discussion.
