Looks like Thursday's are gone too. I'm kinda' surprised, I was there 2 weeks ago and it seemed pretty lively, a good number of girls, new DJ who played better music imo, seemed like the place was on the upswing but maybe not. Too bad, if it is done, I only went 4-5 times a year, and it was always hit and miss, sometimes deader than dead, but other times a lot of fun, I'll miss it.

Hmm, ok now they have Thursday nights back on the schedule, as I say it seemed to me like it is starting to get busier based on the last couple times I was there so I was surprised that it has appeared to have gone away.

I dunno about 'alone,' but I guess there might not be enough guys paying for those rooms to sustain them. It's kinda too bad, but I imagine Mandy's got bills to pay...

Apparently Thursday nights are ongoing and actually getting busier. This is from the club's email newsletter last week:

"No matter what buzz you may have been hearing from the uninformed individuals out there :-) This is what is really going on. We are very happy that our Thursday night t-girl parties are not only becoming busier each week, but the night has become so much more social and welcoming (including t-girls, males, couples, gender queers and cross-dressers). Prime time is usually between 10 pm and 1 am, before or after those times can be a little bit slower, but still a nice atmosphere.
The city informed us that we could no longer offer adult style entertainment for these parties, as we do not have the proper license. The legal private sex club angle was not applicable on the t-girl nights, because the t-girls were charging money for dances: money cannot change hands in a legal private sex club environment, only in a licensed adult entertainment facility. (Note that everything is fine for our occasional naked, underwear or sex positive parties!). The T-Girls can still perform on the stage, without removing any clothing.
We have now closed off the private VIP dance booths and removed the dance pole on Thursdays. This seems to have opened up the night to more T-Girls and cross dressers who just wish to have fun, and not hound the men to buy dances. This has created a much more relaxed style of event, with t-girls and admirers alike looking for social interaction and leading to possible dating or relationships.
We would like to make this point clear to everyone out there: the city was NOT picking on us because it was a transsexual party! They are simply doing their job, and encouraging us to follow the rules."

Glad to see it's still going on, but a pity about the end of the stage shows. I saw Lucy Bisset and Natalie do a double act on the pole not too long ago and it was, as you'd expect, absolutely SCORCHING.

I've been to GH a few times and found it empty and the tgirls left early. It's too much like a club for younger people. I liked the lounge out in Mississauga as it was more like the stripper bar with seats and a stage to watch the strippers. I' don't like standing around. lol
