Japan has the best everything. Cosplay. Newhalfs. Cars. Anime. Vending machines with used knickers. Gotta love the place (even though i've not been yet). Now a new-half venue that does cos-play would be something

I'd love to visit Japan but does it have a "backpacker/traveller" scene? I travel a lot, usualy S.E Asia and South America as it's so cheap. Australia is expensive but it's pretty easy to find work to pay your way. I hear Japan is very expensive and obviously not easy to find work or get a visa for a westerner.

Do you know of any cheap places to stay/eat and the name of some decent new-half and/or cos-play clubs. I'm actually drifting/travelling for a few years again next month and would 100% make my way to Japan if i could get the 2 basics. Room and Food. A fellow traveller once said yoyogi park is a good place to pick up women... not sure if newhalfs too.
