someone's name with an asterisk (*) beside their name

What does it mean when i look at "the last 10 members to view my profile" section and i see
someone's name with an asterisk (*) beside their name?
Like, just for example: fnky*.

I saw mods there and they had an asterisk beside their usernames.

Is fnky* a mod, also?
