It's a sensitive subject, and it makes me feel somewhat ambivalent. As far as I know, there are special theme worksheets for studying nouns and adverbs, but I have not come across such an expression that transgender is an adjective Of course, you can argue with this. But I am more surprised why people with such features can not choose a name for themselves relative to a part of speech, maybe it is also a verb or a verbal adjective... In any case there will always be disagreements on this ground and it will not concern the spelling rules
