Hey guys,

How about Reddit? Can we create a sub-reddit for this? Reddit is much better in terms of organizing data and has a very good search functionality. We can use flairs to identify who's who (not personally identifiable info, just things like escort/monger), set verification methods in place to verify escorts and have them be involved in our discussions. We can have a platform where escorts and mongers can come together and propose/discuss/share ideas that can help all of us. With a platform like Reddit and with a community as active as ours, we can create an open platform where all of us can come together and create a more fun and secure mongering environment. I believe mongering/prostitution is just like any other service and it should be regulated (set safe practices in place) by the people actively involved in the service, escorts & mongers. I believe we can create a vibrant community where mongers and escorts can safely give or take this service.

In cities like Hyderabad/Chennai there's little to no escort presence. Now, with this kind of a reliable community, we can manage to bring the escorts to these cities every now and then and help our brothers out there. All I'm saying is, the possibilities are infinite and we can be much more than "members", we can be a family.

In case things go south (prostitution isn't exactly legal in india), reddit's compliance with the government and local laws will mean there's a chance your privacy will be at risk. If you want a platform free of government intervention and respects user privacy, may I suggest telegram? First of all, I don't want a closed community. No way. I want an open community where we share mutual responsibility towards protecting crucial info from going into the wrong hands. Telegram is not the ideal solution, it has it's own privacy issues, moreover it's like WhatsApp, only it doesn't reveal user's phone number. It doesn't have Search, Post filters/sorting etc. If we are looking for something like a chat app there are better alternatives. It's also very hard for new people to join telegram's chat group, you just can't search for a group that easy. On the other hand, anyone can easily find a sub-reddit given that it is open, we can decide who can join. Regarding Indian government and it's intervention, I don't think it should be a problem. There are thousands of subs on Reddit dedicated to NSFW and I can think of at least 2 Indian subs that are used for escorts/mongering discussions. I know it doesn't guarantee our privacy but think about it this way, our community is niche, we are liberal and do not go out of our way to hurt opinions of others/or personally target someone, everything is consensual and Reddit is is one of the top 10 websites in the world. I don't think government has enough time to look into our thing seriously and even if it does I do NOT think Reddit will handover our data. After all, we are just some nice group of people doing something that we love. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that. Bhai, if the government wants to find out about escorts/mongers they can easily get the mobile numbers of the escorts and track down them and us. And it is way better than making the world's favorite community platform to give up user data.

By going through a person's activity, be it comments/posts/other history, his time on Reddit, karma etc. I know we can do that here as well but not as effectively. There are a lot of other things, like using flairs/tags to easily find info that we need. Reddit also has an app, we can get instant message/chat notifications if we want. We can be way more active on Reddit. We don't have to come to this forum every now and then using VPN to check up on the latest activity. We can get updates instantly, we can use it like WhatsApp, helping our bros even when we are on the move. Like I said, I would like to see an active community not a passively active community.
