Ask away our newly adopted 'daughter' -We'll be as helpful as our knowledge permits. The CN Tower ,for example, was completed in 1976. Is this along the lines of information your seeking ?? If it's more about the life ,times, and TG places to be, I'm afraid that expertise will flow from others. Hope your relocation is without difficulty.

ok this is my question, i live in california, and i was offered a job in toronto, and i wanna get a new change in my life and just experience how great toronto is - BUT i have a prior arrest record here in california, and i wanna know if i will still be able to cross thru customs at the airport....its really worrying me

please give me any information that u can on the matter, thanks

This might be better answered in a private email.

Having said that there are many different circumstances that will enable people to cross the border.

For example you may be eligible for entry with a pardon, I do know that workers for certain Canadian corporations have the ability to enter the US with the proper waiver's or documentation.

If you want to pm me, we can discuss it further and possibly point you in the right direction to cross over properly.

Let me be very clear my soon to be Toronto resident. I am not a trained professional lawyer. Therefore my knowledge of Canadian Immigration entry requirements/restrictions are foreign to me. But I would strongly recommend you telephone or write your nearest Canadian Consulate or government house for that information. I also certain there is located in your state a Canadian welcoming centre, encouraging US citizens to seek out informations about the Provinces of Canada and extolling the beauty of this great land. You may even wish to consult a legal mind of your state familiar with immigration to Canada. Finally, your admission or denial will rest heavily on the when, where ,why and how you incurred a criminal record, past or recent past , and the severity surrounding offenses and penalty imposed.
