  • Tia: thinking of Middle East (Turkey and Uni Emirates)

I love traveling..it's the best way to remain positive and sober.

I am wondering whether or not it's ok to travel to Middle East and have a combination of working and travelling at the same time. I'm thinking of going to Turkey (Istanbul and suroundings) and probably to Uni Emirates (Dubai, Bahrain, or Abu Dhabi). Anybody who has experience and can give me some inputs? Thanks

    Luv,
    Tia

Re: Tia: thinking of Middle East (Turkey and Uni Emirates)

I've been to Dubai, but it was about 10 years ago and a lot has changed based on the pics I've seen. Still, it was a very liberal place by Middle Eastern standards and there is plenty to do. My only advice is to prepare yourself for the heat. It's not dry like you would expect - the ocean dumps a lot of humidity into the air - so the temperature can get up above 45 celsius with 60-70% humidity. Walking out of an air-conditioned building is like getting punched in the chest with hotness.

It's a great place though. I will definitely be back one day. Oh... don't miss the gold souk. Never in my life have I seen so much wealth all in one place. And the guards walking around with drawn automatic rifles only serve to further drive home the point that it's all real.

thanks Oral Boy. I'm pretty sure there is a high demand on shemale there but : How about the safety of the country??

      Cheers,

I never felt unsafe, and I had an apartment in the middle of the city in a very indigenous neighbourhood. I regularly walked home from my gig at 3 or 4 am.

Well Shelby..., unfortunately i"m not the blondie type.

Anyway, thanks for all inputs, i might however, heading up to Istanbul in November (if my time permits). I've heard so many great stories about the city..so it looks to me that i'm going solely on vacation this time.

              Cheers,

You could probaby try contacting Najwa, she is from the Middle East I believe
                http://www.arabictranssexual.com
She travels all over including Canada.

I think you need to know the position of Women in some of those countries.
The men can have a very traditional attitude towards womens rights and how they should behave.
Also she once told me men can be very particular about the religion of girls they have intimate relations with in some of the middle east.

                  Excellent idea!

I thought about the idea of contacting Najwa, but i haven't contacted her since my plan might change (either go to Turkey or back to my home country).

You're extremely right about the issue of being a shemale escort in UEA. I'm pretty sure the demand is high, but it might be danger. I do not want to put myself into a bad situation, therefore it is much more probable, i'm heading up to Istanbul, or South East Asia and having just 100%vacation.

                  Thanks,
                  Tia

Hi Tia, I just returned from Dubai last night after a 10 day trip. Very safe city and it prides itself on that. Also a very international city as well, so you get all types. I can't qualify Shelby's statement about people there going crazy over blondes, but then again, they go crazy over blondes anywhere. You would have a nice time there. Just can be bloody expensive if you don't know the places to check out. Shopping is great too.

Re: Tia: thinking of Middle East (Turkey and Uni Emirates)

                        Hi..thanks for another input..

I wish i could be just being perceived as "normal" as other people, but i'm (read: transgender) different. I might totally have a bad experience there (harassment, etc..).

Actually i was in Abu Dhabi when i was young (16) for transit before going to Europe with my family, and Arab men of different ages followed me on the street, i was thrilled and scared at the same time. And of course, i was too young to take the opportunity of escorting.

Time goes by, right now i see it as an opportunity for making big bucks of course. But, i might create problem there...

So before knowing somebody who can help and channel myself to the right clientele (hopefully very upper class clientele), i prefer to go back to Asia..and see once more....my family, friends...this definitely will make my heart warm again (Well you know..escorting business is hard.., it hardens your soul..., and i definitely want to be back to my little, naive, sweet Tia again, instead of being a professional bitch all the time).

I am at my peek of my escorting career in Toronto right now.., i might become "bigger" someday (not as an escort hopefully), but before this opportunity and $ millions come, let make my career as an escort more established by visiting this lucrative market. If you know somebody who can protect and give me the right channel into Middle East, please do not hesitate to PM me. And let's make it happen!

Ups.. i hope i do not talk too much thsi time, otherwise i will be blamed again of making self promotion...

                        cheers,
                        Tia

No worries, you are just saying what is on your mind. I wish I could help you with an in with some folks there, but unfortunately cannot. I am not sure what kind of response you would get there, but really, some sections of the city are totally like a North American/Western European city. Lots of fun was had, even though it was the middle of Ramadan. The police only showed up once to one of our parties and that was deemed to be pretty serious, though we were all yelling and screaming and dancing our asses off at 3 a.m. Good times!

OMG..it sounds great.., i really feel like going there this year....

Unfortunately, i can't.... i've phoned everybody (family, relatives, friends, my-ex..etc) that i will be there soon. Oh well probably next year.

                            Once again thanks though....
