basically registering for the license registers you as a sexworker with a government agency. that is now on your file and can come up whenever you travel.

would you really want to plan a nice vacation somewhere (to the tone of thousands of dollars) then be refused by customs because they think your going to work.

I think there is more to the story than just an escort license. I find it hard to believe that a business license would prevent anyone from travelling. That all it really is, a business license.

The has been a few come through Calgary this past summer, Raven, Sweet Rose, Najwa and Ethena. I am sure that none of them got a license.

From what I have heard is windsor is stricter then Calgary. I've heard tell that TGs get away with it.

in Windsor it is not a business license... it is a numbered escort license. Also if you advertise you are to include the number in the add??

That is the same as Calgary, but it still boils down to it being a business license. You need it to conduct business.

It is not an Alberta Law, just a Calgary Municipal Law same as Windsor in this province. I doubt that Banff would come under the same regulations since Banff is a National Park and comes under Federal jurisdiction. Maybe Calgary papers would not be able carry any ads announcing your coming to town tho'. There must be a Banff paper and there are lots of rich visitors all year round.

I imagine RCMP along with Park Wardens do any policing of the townsite as well as the park.

I just always wanted to go to Banff. Ive been to Calgary and Edmonton numerous times. Always looking getting a great look at the Rockies, but never ventured into them. who knows maybe a theres a gentleman out there that would like to arrange some special company for a weekend and forget the advertising altogether.

Windsor is tougher than Calgary or any other place in Canada. Don't blame Canada Customs. It's Canada Immigration. But that's only if you're an American travelling to Canada. If you're a Canadian returning to Canada there's no problem at all.
