I might be going to thailand this summer, most likely Bangkok and would like to know the best spots to pick up ladyboys. I would also like to know if all of them are for pay or if it is common to just go home with one from a bar or club.

You are not going to pick up a tgirl any where for free in Thailand, especially being a foreigner.
Everything is incredibly cheap there so no worries about expense.

hi go to patpong bar...they close early daily, bec. the rules in thailand changed 3 years ago its not 24 hours, so if u want to meet the ladyboys go around 10pm....u will like it bec. its a lot of bars on that area. patpong is the area u will tell the tuktuk(taxi made from motorbike), and about them charging ofcourse, you are in asia, even in canada girls do charge, so be nice to the asian girls , they need to survive too...50-100 per date will make the girls loves you....And reminder, i hope u like uncut cocks....be safe there ok...u will love thailand....have a nice experience and good trip there....take care...ts tanya

If you stay at hotel near Nana Plaza, no need for taxis or tuktuks.
You can walk, see other posting I mentioned for good hotel.
Lots of mention of prices in those other posting too, I believe.

Most ladyboys are in the range of 500-1000 baht for short time (1 hour or less) or 1000-3000 baht for long time (overnight). Bangkok in Patpong and Nana Plaza the prices are higher than in Pattaya.
Pattaya has most ladyboys of any city in the world.

One warning though... be careful about sex tourism laws.

don't want to go to all the effort only to be picked up at customs by the RCMP and tossed in jail.

know your laws (from home and in the country you are going to) to be safe

Summer just happened. I guess you mean next summer? Keep in mind that August is monsoon season in Thailand and a terrible time to go. Best time of year to go is from November to February.

Chiang Mai in February 2008
