You can trade out anyone for anyone not on your team.

If you have a player you wish to replace because of injury or otherwise.
Pick another player from the league to replace him.
You must pick another player of the same position.
This costs you one trade.
(replacement, reserve pick or whatever you want to call it.)

I don't see that option anywhere and I really need to get rid of someone on my roster .
