I love playing first person shooter games online but I can't stand playing them on a console. The control is just so much better on the PC.

As for the new tomb raider I rented it a week or so ago and I agree it is more frustrating than fun. Legend and Anniversary were both way better IMO.

X-Box live is a cesspool in games like CoD though you'll find there are far more immature players on them than you would find in other types of games.

I also played "Soildier of fortune - payback" Online, I did not like this game all to much, it was o.k, but not really my thing. The solo player game was great. I spent like 16 hours sitting there smoking, eating, wanking off and eating some more. It was allot of fun and if you like first person shooter games you will like this one. Even the storyline left me wanting more, thats when you know it is a good game!

I just got "Tomb Raider" and it really has become over rated and way to much money! I used to love playing this game, but this time around it is not that good. I mean I am only in the first level, the under water part and I am already lost and board. The controls are jerky and it sometimes hurts my eyes. It is just not doing it for me...But I might change my mind once I get past this stupid part, I will let you know!

Anyways I would love to hear from anyone else who enjoys these games. Tell us what you play and maybe review some of these games for us. I just got 3 more myself tonight...I know I really need to get a life..lol.

It also might be fun to play with some of you online.

I'm not being funny, you should get a PS3. With the XBox 360, you have to top-up your internet with those XBox Live cards but you don't have to with the PS3 from what I read. I loved my XBox 360 until it got the RRoD and then started freezing and then I was told the RRoD can return so I thought "fuck this shit, I'm getting a PS3" and I did and I read we only need a router to hook-up on the internet with it. Also, you're more likely to find more people with the PS3 to play against with the Mutli-Player. I must admit, I prefer the XBox 360 version of GTA 4 to the PS3 version. I hope I never spoilt anything for you, I'm only giving my opinion that might help. I know the PS3 is still expensive but at least with the internet through it saves money because Microsoft charged money for the XBox Live. I'm still keeping my XBox 360 anyway because of the games I still have.

By the way, I hope you don't stand your console upright on the plastic feet because I was told that can cause damage somehow. A friend of mine on-line said he used to fix games consoles and the XBox 360 was always coming in over the same repairs and it was because they were stood upright and not laid down flat. I don't know why Microsoft put the plastic feet on the right-hand side of the console.

By the way, I'm into the same games as you. At the moment I'm playing GTA 4 for the second time but the first time as the PS3 version.

World of Warcraft!!! It's only on PC and it is as addictive as they say it is. I spend hours playing this. I used to play FPS like Counter Strike, Medal of Honor, and Halo (PC versions).

COD4 and Halo 3 are always fun to play, if you have a ps3 Little Big Planet is a fun timewaste aswell.

CoD 5 is a really good game to play online. Halo 3 is pretty fun too. But in comparison to PS3, I have both. The online community just isn't the same on the PS3. I find the wireless connectivity with the PS3 is very laggy as well. I dunno, I see my PS3 sitting there, and I think of it as a blue ray player for my tv, thats it. The games suck, its really no fun at all compared to the xbox. Sure you have to pay for the online shit and its very fragile, but its a lot more entertaining.

For shooters i would recommend the Halo series, Gears of War 1 & 2, and Half-life/Team Fortress/Portal ( which you can buy as one with "The Orange Box)

If you like to role-play, video game style...less fun but still enjoyable. I'd go with Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fable 2.

There are quite a few really good arcade games off XBLA; I play Worms, Castle Crashers, Bomberman, Uno. But the arcade has everything from crossword puzzles to classic Doom from the pc.

And yes the online community if fairly immature, you probably will be called all kinds of names by people barely old enough to shave, but there are gamers, myself included that don't take the games seriously. And from what I've seen and friends of mine have experienced women get a harassed a lot more than guys do.

As for the whole ps3 vs Xbox debate, you could argue pros and cons of each system all day long and it still comes down to personal preference.

Sorry I have not looked at the forum in a week or so..been playing with myself.

Thanks, I will sit my xbox flat...I did not know this.

I have not played COD in over a month now. I have been playing a game called rogue ops. I like it, but wish the guy would have told me it was for the first xbox. It was a piss off to get to stage 4 and have to do the samething over and over again with the code door.

The cheats, yes I know I use some cheats when things get boring. Well they only work with the old controller because of the black & white buttons.

So now I am almost to the end of level 4, trying to open this last door and then I read the walkthough to see that I have to have one last fly cam in the next room to turn the gas off...and guess what....I do not have one..lol

So I will other have to sit there and redo all of level 4 again, if I can. Or just scap the game...which is what I might have to do.

But yes, thats what I have been doing..single life is great!!..lol

I have added you guys and when I play COD again sometime I will see you there!
