I completely agree that the level of research carried out by the average forum member is elementary, however, that does not change the fact that there are a significant number of unscrupulous ads out there, and getting burned even once in a while, should never be acceptable. I would also agree that if a shady SP is identified, that forum members collect as much information on this individual as is available, and post it so that it may be searchable in perpetuity.

Rule of thumb: If you're not familiar with an SP, then you should NOT PAY A DEPOSIT! Any legitimate SP who has their client list in order, and an efficient business model, doesn't need to charge a deposit. I know the top ladies in this city, and none of them feel the need to get the duckets up front. Then again they might be doing something different.

I’ll never give a deposit. Never. However, if a SP wants to have a deposit as part of their agreement, that’s entirely up to that person.

I know all the women can probably relate to this, but it's very frustrating when setting up appointments and scheduling our evenings, to have a client ghost or not show up to the appointment entirely. I understand things happen, however it's usually just ignorant towards us and a loss of income. Wouldn't it be best to let us know you aren't able to make it?

That's why I charge a deposit, clients are literally invested at that point. Otherwise I might as well be working on my other income streams (camming, marketing, shooting porn, etc.)

I don't totally disagree with a deposit but it should be able to be applied to a rebooking if reasonable cancelation notice was given.

I for one only request usually an hour notice then another notice when you are on your way to my place....A security deposit is very rare, the only time i would suggest it, is if you want to book me several days in advance for a specific time and are very serious about me blocking a time for you; other than that, I see no reason to ask for one.
