Kristopin, you appear seemingly relieved that if nothing else you were able to engage others in an intelligible dialogue.

Like yourself, Admin, Nikki and others, my aspirations in contributing to this thread and to this board is to provide legitimacy. (Though it may seem lost on some.)

We must not allude ourselves to believe "freedom of speech" can be upheld on this type of board since the vast majority of the members are cloaked behind an alias that eludes accountability excepting the rules outlined by Admin. The most vulnerable of this community is the Service Providers themselves for they provide their identity by revealing their faces.

I appreciate the availability of the She-male Service Providers.
I also appreciate the availability of this forum to discuss our experiences and to make new discoveries.

Alas, I wade through the thicket, that appears at times (with a few thistles along the way...lol), to find on the other side a community to share the love of the She-male community that is offered by virtue of this board.

      thanks all

like toban i would like to thank you all for your input here.

Nikki is an incredible writer, i am jealous of her youth and her ability to research things to give us facts. reading her posts always offers us some insight into things and promptss us to think and learn. i for one rally appreciate her efforts. i was disturbed before when she took a break and thought about not coming back.

tgirltoy, we have not met but i also appreciate your thoughts here. i was not so much relieved to set this thread in place but i had some personal reasons to do so. i have an enormous sense of personal responsabilty as part of my freedom. i also try to look at the human side of things. as far as tgirls showing their facs while we hide that is part of our coming out and our bravery. when one has decided to come out why not show our real face and be proud .
sometimes we just get into a crappy space and need to "rant" as i did before.

Admin, yours is the hardest job. you have to decide how far you will let things go before you have to put your foot down. not an envious task. i think you will find that most of us will really appreciate your patience.

i think that there are some really cool folks here such as sensuous_lover20, youngboy4ts, jenllani alyssa, and all the others.
we are all part of the different flavours of a glorious community.
      according to some, not trangendered

so here we go again. the subject: freedom vs censorship?
which do you prefer and why?

i prefer freedom myself. as i see it the problem with censorship is who is the censor.
Easy to get over involved in these things but it doesn't help any overall understanding of the issue.

As to freedom/censorship, freedom of course. Having said that, these boards are not free, nor are they democratic in any way at all--the owner sets the rules, you either go along with it or go.

But, at the end of the day any forum requires users, and the more articulate and well-informed the better; if the admin policy drives these people away then it is to the detriment of the forum. If the owner is deriving an income from the site that may be a sanction on admin policy.

I can't comment on policy here, but I will mention the case of a forum where one of the mods thinks it's fine to pitch into the debate but as soon as that person is challenged in that debate, resorts to threats of banning, deletes posts and so on. Why would anyone bother posting on a board like that?

In the old days when there were only a couple of forums on this topic, the admins could do what they liked because they knew there was nowhere else to go; but with the current proliferation of sites (and if you think there are many now in English, believe me it's nothing to what is available in Spanish and other languages) on this subject, frankly there are not enough hours in the day to get round them all anyway, and we are in a position where admins, if they want to see the numbers up, have to make their sites more attractive, or find them filled up with 'Am I gay' or 'How do I meet a shemale' newbie posts. Freedom rules.
