I once left the club with my ex boyfriend drunk and ended up running into a pole that left a nasty gash on my forehead. At the time i was having issues with my boyfriend and i remember my friends questioning the next day if he hit me. I could easily have lied and said yes and brought my ass to the police station to make a false claim against him. Does that mean there shouldn't be a law against domestic violence because someone can self harm and claim its the abuser?
You've completely ignored my statement and called them ridiculous then proceed to use a ridiculous and unrelated explanation to defend your point. I never said rape laws shouldn't exist... I said an escort cannot and should not claim rape when they were not. If two individuals agree to have sex then it cannot be rape when all the acts that happened in the bedroom were agreed upon.

Yes that can't be considered rape because there was consent, therefore it was theft because he would owe her the amount that was agreed upon, and service women need to be protected from theft and especially worse like rape, or worse. But this gets to me, "The selling of sex in Canada is legal, but the purchasing of sex is illegal in all circumstances." How can paying for a sexual service be illegal when selling that service is legal? I don't think this will hold in the supreme court if some nice guy gets arrested for paying when its legal to sell. We need a thread devoted to exactly this.

If a professional fighter doesn't get paid after a fight, should the promoter and agency get charged for battery and physical assault as their bodies were sacrified without getting paid? No that would he a theft charge as well since both individuals consented to the fight and acts that happened during said fight.
Correct, the promoter and agency will owe money to the professional fighter and can only be charged for theft or fraud if they don't pay him after there was an agreement between the parties. Same applies if some jerk doesn't pay a woman for a sexual service that was agreed between the two.

Not comparable since they didn't even make the agreement with the person they were fighting but the agency.

It wasn't unrelated your whole stance has been that sex workers can exploit the law if it was instituted. Just because consent is initially given doesn't mean that anything goes. Taking off the condom during sex is considered rape by many. anything involving assault during the encounter makes it rape as well regardless of whether consent is initially given.

And did the client agree to have unprotected sex? The condom secretly being removed occurs during the act and not after. If you know you have an std and you choose to sleep with people intentionally without providing that information that is also considered rape. With your analogy if someone realizes they have an std after people that slepts with them can retroactively go back and say they were raped. No matter how much you twist the situation not paying is a form of theft and not rape since not paying is harm regarding finances rather than sex. At this point I am saying the same thing in different ways.

Still doesn't change the fact that both client's bodies were taken advantage of without receive their said payment. The agency(client) and fighter(escort) would have a legal battle regurding the fraud/theft and not the damages and assualt thay occured during the fight(sex) since all the professionals that took part understood the risks that come with the nature of the business. If an escort was seeking damages beyind the finances the court wpuld deem that as the escort demanding retribution rather than justice.

Here we go,you making more ridiculous scenarios. Once again ANYONE can lie about multiple things that are listed as crimes. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be a law. "The act of taking off the condom occurs during sex" yes and the intention of not paying for services occurs during sex as well. Not paying isn't just a crime of finances but a violation of ones body. Tricks like you will never understand that so theres no point in debating this further as we will never agree. Best to agree to disagree

That's not true they could easily add the damages they received from the fight as part of the lawsuit. The same way people try add emotional distress to assault lawsuits in order to get a bigger payout.

Tricks like me? I think its best to agree to disagree. Resorting to personal attacks means you have nothing of value left to say... I will not be responding to anything that is said here from now on. Good day.
