Try explaining an STI to your wife if she is also your regular Pharmacist that also has access to blood result tests.

Stop spreading misinformation. Prep protects against HIV. It doesn’t protect against other STIs but when you’re on prep, yoh have to go through regular testing and they won’t give you a new prescription unless you come back clean against all the other sti’s

Guys, stats like this are heavily skewed by certain demographics and can't apply to everything. For example, street workers and addicts in poverty and those that are pimped and sex trafficked have high rates of HIV. Very high. In foreign countries such as Thailand and Brazil, the rates are high if you are not going through establishments that enforce testing.
But for those of us here, most of us on this forum are seeing the 300-500 per hour escorts that list on Shemale Canada and the HIV rates there are pretty much zero (maybe there are one or two outliers that are listing that may be rumoured, but other than that, it's close to nil).
So what I am saying is, if you pick up street workers and those in terrible situations, or go to places in foreign countries where the trans girls are clearly exploited and not in tested bar environments, then you are in a risky situation. You are not at any risk level to cause worry if you are meeting higher priced independents who are committed to health and a good lifestyle here in Canada.
There are tons of men who have posted here over the years who have done the rounds through our Canadian girls and we are all fine. So you know, don't hit the panic button.
Your risk factor is really based on the conditions you are meeting someone in, not that they are specifically transgender. General HIV rates that are quoted in transgender populations in our country are skewed by high risk groups and not generally reflective of your average transgender person.
