I dunno that was a pretty stupid penalty for Komisarik to take that late in the game. Two local boys kiled us too Metropolit and Camilieri.

You have to start Toskala...you cant start a rookie...mid season though he will have lost his starting role.

Toronto has no depth, same thing year after year, a few changes does not make a Stanley Cup or even the playoffs. Let's face it. Toskala just ....isn't.....that....good. Without Blake and Stajan the team has nothing except maybe that speedy Swedish player. As for Price, he is 22 now, most goalies don't hit there prime though until their late 20's so he still has time to develop To all Habs fans, as much as I like the team they aren't going to be the team they were the past few seasons but they'll still be better than TO.

Price isnt a rookie and he isnt 19 years old he is 22 years old. He was drafted by the Habs in 2005 and played for thier farm team before they started him.

I am not saying Toskala is a great goalie and in fact his sun 900 save percentage is completely inadequate for an NHL goalie. But there is no way you can start a goalie that zero North American pro hockey experience at home in your season opener.

That Sweedish player is Stalberg. And as a blue bleeding die hard Leafs fan I am very happy with what i saw last night. Even in losing that game is the first time i have had any hope for this team in two years.

Ah yet another leafs fan who thinks they have a hope in hell in Oct. I just want to point out now that they will again break your heart. That way later I can say, "I told you so"

My hope is for a decent season with some scoring toughness and fast play. This team is not even close to being a contender.

I'm very disappointed in this Wallin charactrer. Came from Sweded too I believe.

Beauchemin and Schenn seem really off you have to wonder why they are paying Komisarik this money? He can't pass very well, an average shot and gets the worst penalties at the worst times. They get rid of Kabina to get this guy. Not that I like Kabina but he was better that this clown.

I really think that Kadri proved he was ready. He was there best player in the pre-season and I want to see Bozak come up too.

We have way more depth than the last few years. Let us get our stride and let the MONSTER play. I want to be a fan so bad.
