Alicia's photo is good all around, it just seems like she just had fun with the shot and not taking it too seriously. Andrea's photo, well, great positioning, centered incredibly and that look she has is stinging. Aliyah's photo is a good pic all around with the tease and the lighting is nice in the background.

Movie: Run Lola Run is a German thriller known primarily for its unique structure which propels Franka Potente who plays the feisty yet vulnerable Lola through three versions of a plan to secure an impossible sum of money in the next 20 minutes. It is also dubbed in English.


CD: Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy Up the Girl. A polished set of catchy songs varying from hard rock to soft ballads that push this band more into the mainstream.

I have been asked by someone what exactly is Spark. They asked "Is it a magazine? " I immediately said "No. it's not a magazine." To have such a project would require work round the clock and involve much much more. Stories, editorial opinions, photo layouts.....omg...no this is not that. As I mentioned before this is just a calendar with just a little more to it.

I was also asked " WTF " Yes, that was the opening statement ....lol. "WTF is with the name Spark." Well. Again. It's just something to relate to the calendar. I mean I could've said "Virtual Calendar 2010" but figured......hmmm.... nah....go with Spark. The term can be taken in so many ways like "spark an interest" or "spark an idea" just like you see here in this project.


Sooooooo Lola had asked me a few weeks ago to do a video for her. Some may know that last year I did 2 videos with the idea of doing a set of 10 for various girls. One was completed for Lucy and the other for Tania. Problem is when I posted the videos on YouTube I got a lot of harsh feedback from viewers and pulled them down BUT I now now how to disable comments on YouTube so yes I will eventually do a video for Lola and repost the others As to when Lola's will be done I really don't know as I also have another video in the works but its featuring all the girls from Canada.



Ok. Well. I mentioned last week how the last time I was in TO I got into a small scrap once I got off the train and arrived. There's really not much too say. The kid who swung at me mustve been 17 or so and he had to be on something as he was slurring his words but man was he cursing up a storm. I told him once I didnt have any smokes and he got angry and asked me again swearing at me and I said loudlly "LOOK I DON'T HAVE ANY" He takes a swing at me but it was so slow and weak i just side stepped away and half heartedly just kinda shooed him away.

One thing thats very cool about TO are the cabbies. LOL Never a dull moment with them. There was one cab ride that stood out. The cab driver was making conversation asking me where I was going and where I was from and all that and for some really bizarre reason he asked me what cologne I was wearing. I wasn't wearing cologne and just said uh.....if you mean my Axe deodorant spray thats what I have on.....LMAO. He then responds excitedly and asks where I bought the Axe spray and as I tell him you can get it virtually everywhere he stops the cab for a few seconds....writes what I say down and stops the meter......LOL. I'm thinking to myself, er...ok

By the way I hope to reveal the idea I have in relation to the quotes I post along side the photos.

T Woman of the Week



For those who may recall I mentioned at the beginning of this year how I hoped that in 2010 there would be more appearances of "T Woman of the Week". Again it all relates to that "spark" theme. There are times where once in a while you see or hear things that make you go "Hmmmmm." so why not show some admiration.

Kitana and I have collaborated. I always welcome any participation in this project but thats not why she's woman of the week. After following her posts she has always been helpful, always been polite to guys AND TO GIRLS and hardly ever has a bad thing to say. Needless to say she has some good photos too. One presented here looks like its from a digicam and it just goes to show you, wherever you are and whatever you may have you can still come across with a nice shot. Notice I've also added a "special" altered photo. Seeing as how this photo manipulation might become a trend I thought I'd share a little something with all of you.

Layla with the classic schoolgirl shot and wow,that facial expression is priceless, seems to call out "You want this?". Lexi has a good black and white shot and blends well with the backdrop. All around simple , natural and clean. Sitara's photo is appealing as to how the background fades near the center as also how she has that smirk and positions her hands to entice and have the viewer crave.

Movie: The Stepford Wives The original release from 1975 tells the story of Joanna who moves with her husband Walter and their children to the "ideal" suburban community of Stepford, CT. Slowly, Joanna deduces that something is amiss; most of the other housewives are vapid creatures who speak in trivialities and live only to please their husbands.

Side note - The remake in 2004 with Nicole Kidman is utter trash and doesn't hold a candle to this.


CD: Surf Wax - Songs of the Beach. If you can get past the pic of the bikini clad surfer girl model you'll be pleasantly surprised to hear a great compilation of instrumental and vocal surf songs featuring some well known tracks and some forgotten gems.

Happy Valentine's Day to all. I had the idea of doing a Valentine's Day theme this week but figured it was better not too. I'd rather have some consistency in the project. Besides the idea I was conjuring up was going to involve some photo rearranging but seeing that if I did that this week and then never do it again I thought that it wouldn't be fair to everyone involved.

I really haven't got much to say this week. It's been a bit of a downer actually. In fact most of the last week has had me stay at home due to some circumstances involving people who are close. The weather is ok but on my end its been more overcast than sunny which makes for some lackluster mornings. Um, yeah. Not much else I'm afraid

Well, that's not entirely true. I still have a video in the works regarding the ladies of Canada. I have 2 minutes of footage completed with about 4 or 5 more minutes too go. If I push myself perhaps in 2 or 3 weeks I'll get it done and post it here. I'll start Lola's as well when she gets back and shows her new photos.

Hey all. I felt that I should post this picture up again as I'm not quite sure how many people saw it. It was originally put up in late December of 2009 very near when the year ended. This is I guess the final look of 2009.

This photo is rather large so I stress if you want to see the full image click on it a few times and/or open it in a new tab if you can.

What you see doesn't necessarily mean either that if one girl was already "Woman of the Month" that they will not be represented again in 2010 . It could very well be that it may happen. With 2 months into the year I've been jotting down some new ideas as to how this project can expand. The whole "making this printed" idea is still something I'm contemplating but with all that has happened in the past I'm unsure of its certainty.

The new stuff I've got in mind could very well bring about more expansion to other mediums. With that though all I can state is we will see how things on my end pan out over the coming weeks. I'll be sure too keep everyone informed about any changes that could occur. Promise .... and if you know me I always make good on promises.

There is some serious heat going on here with her photos. In every photo she looks out with such intensity you just can't help but think " Too hot to handle." Her tantalizing expressions plus her bright red outfit dares us to try and not focus attention on her.They are the kind of photos where you stare at them for a long while only to go back to them again and stare at them again. These are photos that can leave a long lasting impression.

In getting to know Paris I've come to learn that she is down to earth and truly loves to learn and wants to learn about people. She likes to challenge herself and is diplomatic. When approached by negativity she CALMLY deals with the situation without any hint of hostility in what she says or types and finds a solution and does not tend to harshly retaliate.

A person who undoubtedly knows how to present herself and take care of herself.
