What happened to the patriotism. I haven't given up and I agree with what has been posted. My additions would be that I would not have picked Niedermeyer, Pronger, Perry or Morrow. I would have gone with Bowmeister, Green, Brad Richards (Dallas) and Stamkos. Phaneuf would be better than Pronger, at least his play lately.

We wanted to meet Russia, well we will meet them earlier now, and we will see the USA in the finals and shut them up. (I really pray)

lisa phaneuf doesn't belong on the canadian team.

pronger poses much more skill and experience than phaneuf will ever. phaneuf would only bring more penalties to canada. i feel the blame of that game should go to brodeur. i think he forgot what sport he was playing.

also it really bugged me to see corey perry as the fifth man as they yanked brodeur.

perry I thought played a great game and in all honesty minus brodeur the whole team played top notch..better than the USA.......its just it was Miller time......pronger looked like an ass the whole game and while i agree phaneuf is a penalty risk he would be a much needed physical boost

oh well coulda shoulda woulda is all we have so now time to turn it up more and destroy germany and russia and get to where we need to be

ya i agree with all of you but seriously dion should have been there i said it before the trade and im sticking to it you go with who is hot at the time and nobody can question his abilitty since the trade to toronto,none of the golies have played well the past 2 months they dont need a golie to steal the game they just need him to play average and not lose the game,we out played the u.s. in every aspect accept in net so its not like were playing bad and besides what a way to finish off the games with a gold medal beating the u.s,how sweet is that?
