  • SRS who & why?

I was looking @ some girls lately (Asley George,Hazel Tucker,Khloe Hart)
who I thought would be perfect candidates for SRS & I was wondering
what the trans community thought about the subject.

    1. Who of you here plan on having SRS & why?
    2. If not I would also like to know why?

It got me thinking if you really know you were born in the wrong body
what amount of surgery can fix that in your mind? I would think even
with a "vagina" you would still know what you had before. I know it's
really complex but I would think/hope as long as others whos oppinion
you care about (loved ones, family, friends etc) see you as a female it
could eventually be enough some day.

IDK maybe as a man I just find it incredibly difficult to imagine

If it was something that would give me peace of mind, I would be willing to make it a part of my transition. I just don't feel it would be completion or any more effective than the estrogen therapy in many ways.
I don't feel that my sex organ defines me by gender, a difficult concept for most to understand.
Besides, I have seen the horror that is a failed SRS procedure.

      Appreciate the response...

I have seen and looked into SRS and from my perspective I would
certainly be able to tell a real pussy from a fake one. I guess it's all
a mind thing I know some TS probably loathe their penis and some
      embrace it.

I suppose there are varying degrees of GD. Some more severe than others. It seems like it's based on individuality but based on a common motive.
I don't want to be reminded that I was born in the wrong body but it's not my penis that triggers it. For some it's everything and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. For me, it's subtle things for some reason I don't quite grasp yet. Funny how I'm fine with my dick but should even the slightest masculine feature show in my face I wig shit.
Well, I guess they have FFS for that reason as well. Not simply based on cosmetic alone. I just don't like the idea of having my skull grinded down with my skin stretched away with clamps. Just me.
I don't know why half of some chicks take these steps. Some chick on Tranchan is talking about FFS and SRS and she feels she should have it done and it's so clearly founded on her low self image.
        I'm fine popping titty skittles.

we take thses steps because we can,we look better then most thats just a fact and like you said dont judge anybodys looks by a few pix i can assure you that anybody who sees me in real life will tell you how beautifull i really am you wont see that in my pix but trust me in real time theres few trannies out there that have star power and i am one of those thanks to my surgeons.if you had the money to get what you needed you would jump at it just like the rest of us period.as for srs im on the list and the number one reason im getting it is simply because my dick is too big to hide away in my jeans nuthin more and nothin less im not a boy nor a girl im transgendered and srs isnt gonna do a damn thing to change that.

I contemplated SRS only because i felt maybe it would help me integrate into society a bit more smoothly. most people i meet say they dont know i'm trans if they ever find out so while was weighing out the pros and cons just not havign to have that type of conversation with men at the time seemed worth it. however now looking back at all that and the person i am today i dont believe i'll ever have it. ultimately i saw i was wanting to go through with SRS for all the wrong reasons. it's also the reason why i haven't had any surgeries as of yet. the way i see it, if you cannot love yourself for the person you are before all the changes, how can you expect to feel love for yourself after surgery? all in all i love myself for who i am now, and i'll never change that...

See, I'm just the reverse of you. I look just fine in some pics but in real life, I look hideous. I look like fucking Medusa only less appealing.
I even rattle when I move and hiss at people.
Nobody can testify to seeing me in public or making eye contact with me because they have turned to stone.
My dick is small so I have no reason for electrical tape or super glue.
SRS is kinda silly because I have an anus. I already have something to pop so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Einstein, I disagree with 2 of the 3 you originally mentioned as good candidates. I remember when Danielle Foxx was going thru her SRS she mentioned that her doctor was very pleased because she had a lot to work with. Those like Hazel and Ashley are not so blessed in that area so for that reason I do not feel they a prime candidates. I'm sure it can be done but some of the hung guys and girls out there would have to be very careful not to go in too far and cause damage. Now as for my good friend Lisa, yes I agree that she would be a good candidate. I just hope she doesnt come up with the money for a few more years, LOL.

Well I read that most SRS recipients can't be fucked anyway
or if they can only by a small penis. It was a high percentage
that couldn't take more then 6 inches.

Exactly. Now that would not be a problem for me, but for many it would be.

LOL.....when they said 6 I laughed it wouldn't be pleasurable for anyone.

i still havent decided to have srs or not. I just dont really like any form of surgery and in fact, i am very scared of it. I do feel that I would feel more completed after having srs, but at the same time, it is not the most important thing in my life. I have so many other things like career, finances, love, and other things that are my immediate worries.

Well if someone chooses to have SRS it is their decision. What annoys me the most is that people that think the person shouldn't have SRS and 99% time it is guys that say that.

Really there is a small percentage of tgirls that classify themselves as non-op. And the other majority are pre-op's wanting SRS. Unless you are in the situation that we are you have no idea what we go through on a daily basis which leads to why we what SRS.

Suicide, mutilation, massive depression and other things. Ultimately it is our decision and no one should judge us for wanting it.

SRS recipients can have a healthy sex life, Dr. Suporn one of the leading surgeons in the world for SRS in Thailand can usually create a vagina with 6-8" of depth. Depends on the donor material and if the person ops for a skin graft. Genetic women are anywhere from 4-6" of depth. And some of the results the surgeons create are hard to tell from genetic women seriously. There are surgeons that strive on appearance and some that are better at getting depth. I went to Brassard in Montreal because his results cosmetically are usually better then Suporns. Two of the best surgeons in the World.

Also just cause they don't look like a porn star or have had FFS doesn't mean they are not a candidate for SRS. Also another reason is acceptance in society most places require SRS for the gender markers on birth certificates to be changed to female. Do you really think any of the girls on here would want to spend time in a male jail if they ever got arrested? Or killed because of having a penis between their legs.

I had my surgery 4 months ago, am I happy HELL YA! I haven't had any FFS and like Tonia said having someone hack up my face is not my thing. Plus the cost of FFS for one of the best surgeons is in excess of $40K.

So the whole "perfect candidates" phrase is offensive I know it is your opinion but come on.

A majority of pre op trans women might want srs, but how many actually go through with it. I do not go with the thinking that only small minority of trans women do not have srs.

I dont care what a guy thinks about a neo vagina, they should love us no matter what is between our legs, but i am also upset by those post op women who seem to suggest that if we dont go through with it, we are not as women as they are or our struggles are not as hard or admirable. Prejudices goes both way. I think being post op definately helps, in terms of how one is being viewed by the publc, the medical staffs, and the legal or even religious system. Post op is definately a more socially desirable option, regardless of the sexual tastes of some men. (which is pretty irrelevant when it comes to all the shit life has to offer)
