Yes, mand I must admit I've seen a couple of girls, well OK, maybe a few more, but really, since my memory may not be 100% these days, who knows?

Unfortunately, I am disappointed that no girl so far, has offered me the Senior Discount! There is one good thing though in that most hotels do offer seniors a deal.

I wish to retract my statement that about happy days being here again.

I have just discovered that the thread regarding the disappearance of Tia has just gone missing too.

Obviously Admin/Crag has seen fit to remove both the thread and all references to it, from the Forum. Was this because of some bad blood between Crag and Tia, and/or Nikki and/or me?

The complete thread was removed very shortly after it had been reported there that Nikki had been successful in utilizing the knowledge and support of Sgt. Leaver of Toronto Police Services to locate Tia, still in the UAE. Subsequently, though she is currently being held there by UAE authorities, she will be returned home to Canada by Canadian authorities who are now involved.

This was news that should have been welcomed joyfully by everyone here, not dumped from the forum. This was important news, not only for this forum but for the whole transgender community! It affects the well-being of all TS who may wish to travel in safety beyond our borders.

Needless to say, this thread's removal, this small-mindedness on the part of the administration leads me to believe that all is not so well here as I had once believed it to be when I returned a short time ago.

But, just for the record there was a lot of activity and help that went into locating Tia's whereabouts, and this led to Toronto Police confirming where she was at, and determining that she was safe. This wouldn't have happened if people on the forum didn't put their heads together and contribute little bits and pieces to the final outcome. All of Tia?s friends were worried and had no information about where she was, whether she was safe, or whether she was even alive. Without the original post of ?Do we have a Toronto TS missing?? and without the help of Nikki, who brought this issue to the Toronto police, nobody would know anything. So i wouldn't sell the forum short. I think the forum did a fantastic job bringing people together, and some of it?s members were instrumental in getting to the bottom of what had happened, and this hopefully will speed her release. The reason you don't see what was happening on the thread is because the action shifted away from tgirlforums when Lisa came back. As usual, she started arguing and throwing her weight around--and the thread went off the rails. I personally stopped posting my information on the thread the minute she reappeared, even though i continued to swap info back and forth with Nikki via email. I suspect i am not alone.

Anyway, just for the record, although Tia is safe physically (ie. alive), there is no guarantee she is out of the woods. She is in jail in a completely foreign and homophobic environment, thousands of miles from home. She is likely to be very frightened and lonely there. It's no joke what happened to her, and it may be many weeks or even months before they release her.
