I'd say for a 10 day trip:
-$2000 for economy airfare return. (give or take but usually less)
-$1000 for hotels for 10 days all included.
-$300 for Tranportation. (to and from airport, to tourist spots, to bars etc.)
-Maybe an extra fee for any private parties.

You would be responsible to budget for your own personal expenses.
Food $20 per day you can eat great.
Drinks and beer average $1.50 and smokes are $1 per pak.
Ladyboys $150 per day, plus bar fines if applicable.
Real thai massages are $10 per hour.
Shopping is sick and cheap in Bangkok, you may want to buy lots of stuff, especially clothes.
Then just some extra money for tours, and other various expenses.

I am not looking to profit from this but only pay my expenses for the trip through some type of package.

if you go at off peak times you will save a lot of money my friend recently went and his package was return airfare 3 weeks hotel stay for under 3000 australian dollars but he didnt get any sex he is a christian what a dickhead your airfare will be more from canada but you can get good deals

I have been once when I was in the navy and it is a very
beautiful country,people culture but also filthy if you know
what I mean. I did not get to experience time with a katoey
as I was with my shipmates partying. I did get to bar fine
a nice & pretty thai girl aum to show me and my friends
around. She stayed with me the 3 days and spoke excellent
english she even brought all her friends down to meet the
falang and practice english with us before we shipped out.
I noticed the thai girls don't like the ladyboys and are very
mean to them. Instances happened where the ladyboys
grabbed at us and would literally hang on you and say "I
love you" LOL she would bark at them and be cruel but it
was a fun time. I wish I had the time/funds to go to thailand
for six months or so and train @ sityodtong in pattaya but
I have a kid now so that is out of the question.

I was born in japan, lived there many years. my daughters mother is from sasebo.
it's a wonderful culture and beautiful land I love it very much. I encourage everryone
to visit.

Within moments you will have 3-6 ladyboys pawing at you for your affection and to buy them a drink etc. I remember sitting there watching a Ladyboy dancing on stage and having the girls all over me grabbing my crouch jerking me..It was incredible.
Being a foreigner is a hot commodity.
Damn all those ladyboys are sooooo hot too.

I guess I will find out what that is like soon My only thing is...if you are not " interested" in whoever sits at your table,how do you get them to move on in a polite way. Perhaps something as straight forward as saying "Sorry......not my type".
