Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the mind of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember - how the stars stole the night away...."

Allow me to present to you the beautiful Miss September 2011 - Nikki

Never was a cloudy day with Nikki. Although its been quite some time since I last talked with Nikki I can see that she is still the spirited and active person trying to fight for herself and other ladies to gain more awareness but also positive and unbiased acceptance of t girls everywhere. With a high intellect, demure attitude and sharp wit you have a very beautiful person inside and out. Let us not forget how she isn't afraid and just loves to tackle problems. A stunning September it is.
Song of the week: Public Enemy - Fight the Power Love them or hate them public Enemy has always been controversial. What's ironic is how the have made statements harsh about Hollywood and the movie industry in general and yet this song is one of the Top 50 movie songs as favored by fans and those who work in the industry. Originally there was a video of a miraculous dance sequence from a movie "Do the Right Thing" that used this tune as its theme but it can not be posted due to "embedding" issues. AKA someone doesn't want to share. Pffft. Screw it then. I'll have to ask those who want to see some good ....and I mean GOOD dancing that you will NE-VER see for a long time go to You Tube and key in "Fight the Power Rosie Perez Do the Right Thing" Some people will probably see a girl gyrating around with stiff movements. All I can say to those people is you can not see things that are clear as day. You know what. If a t - girl could dance the way like Rosie Perez did in "Do the Right Thing" then they would have a very lucrative career in the arts. I'm that fucking confident about claiming that.
Movie: Scarface What can be said that already hasn't een said about this film? To sum up , take away all the gore, the violence the machismo and you know what it is? Its simply a rags to riches story but definitely not the pleasant, proud or happy type.

Food for thought: Over the past 2 months I have been subject to a great deal of stress online and offline and in turn have had to make some adjustments to many things. Just letting everyone know of any "subtle" changes they may notice to put it kindly.
To put it into perspective
I think we can all agree that the cliche, "no pain, no gain," is a fundamental truth. When we experience physical pain in the gym, we gain muscles and stamina. When we endure hardship and sacrifice in order to succeed, we gain a feeling of satisfaction and achievement, not to mention financial rewards. When we truly embrace emotional pain, we gain compassion for the suffering of others, an appreciation for the fleeting nature of things, as well as wisdom and spiritual humility. Every act of birth is an act of pain. Our very lives are sustained by the suffering and death of plants and animals, who in turn are sustained by other organisms having a very bad day. That being said, I think we can also agree that this system sucks and needs to be seriously re-jiggered. Now I'm not saying I have a better approach than this pain/gain thing that's been in place for millions of years -- but that doesn't mean we couldn't start tossing around some ideas. For instance, why couldn't an infrastructure for life be developed around the theme, "no dream, no gain?" Sounds like heaven, right? Or is dreaming too easy? Would life quickly become complacent and cease to gain? But then, is gain really that critical? Or is gain the whole point? Is the fact that life exists at all proof that a supreme being or the universe hates complacency? It certainly explains why aboriginal people are constantly being murdered for the sake of "progress." It even explains why HBO went down the toilet.
