OK, I don't buy your "mechanism inside" theory, I know that I consciously make my own decisions.
But suppose your theory is correct. What exactly is that mechanism? Isn't it a part of you, and if that is the case aren't you ultimately making the decision by using that mechanism?

        That "
mechanism behind all of our seeming choices" by the way, is called the brain. There is no other "mechanism" besides the brain that guides us along in the decision-making, right or left turn, processes.
People who have mastered their brains, practice meditation.

We do have free will, so why agree with me to start with, and then say we have no free will?

Turning left or right is the action your brain decided for you because it knows where you are going and it knows that you should turn when it's time to turn.

You don't seem to know what a brain is and what it does, no offense.
There is no mechanism in the human body, other than the brain, that tells us right or left or up or down. Okay on that point?
So i've solved the great mystery for you regarding that strange, unknown "mechanism" that guides us along with our right or left turns, and decision-making choices.

I guess you never attended high school debates. Agreeing, at first, and then disproving your opponent's point of view, at the end, is a classic strategy. I remember a teacher telling us this and it is a little tricky to do without under-minding your own argument.

Babe, here's a question for you:

How do you think choice and will coincide particularly for one whom is weak-willed and tends to tap out when things become increasingly frustrating?
