If you are truly undergoing transition you can officially call yourself that?

However if you are part-time or whatever, some may take offense if you call a person like that transgender.
Even though the term seems like it would cover someone who transitioned between genders.

transitioning can mean going both ways, back and forth.
but there is another interpretation.

The fact is, in todays society someone takes offense to nearly everything.
At some point you just have to say fuck it.

I think TG refers to anyone who mentally identifies opposite their birth sex and is also generally used as a broad term to cover all types of "trans" people..

Anyway, now to be serious about this dilemma

yes it is called a transmission but a mechanic will refer to it as your tranny most do and it is so expensive to rebuild a tyranny as it is very labor incentive the worn out part is cheap to fix its the labor taking everything apart to figure out whats broken lol

What I posted before, rather flippantly, I just could not pass up, having previously had such a discussion with an auto mechanic, but seriously I do not like the term "tranny" and I normally try to avoid it's use. I have had experience where a "girl" has used the term herself, both to refer to herself and to other "girls" so I assume she considered it acceptable.

Then of course we are confronted so many times daily, with the commercialized aspect where internet sites such as Shemale this, Shemale that, Tranny this & that etc. etc. are flogged to attract our $$ (Shemale Canada excepted of course Crag).

I do not suppose that any resolution will come of this problem ever, because as some have already stated here - it matters little what term we use, someone, somewhere, will find that term offensive because of their personal feelings.

I've also heard girls use tranny to describe themselves and their friends. I just use girl, or tgirl if I need to be specific in my meaning.

Howeverrrrrr, a GG (female) doesn't have the trouble a t-girl has from society.
No GG complains when someone calls her a female.
Many transsexuals would complain if they were called shemales.
I think most, if not all, t-girls would like to be referred to as women. But seeing as we are not all gifted with super feminine (visible) features, many of us have to pass as trannys in society.

For the porn industry, i think the word shemale indicates a penis and breasts on the body of the transsexual woman. Not all trannsexuals yet have the breasts to be considered a "she"male.
