Please release Rafalski and move Pronger from injured reserve.

What happens if a player comes of the IR list and you don't know about it? Should you have your player for release identified so it's automatic when the injured player returns? I guess for Centremen the choice is automatic already.

If a player on IR is not activated, I release him after his first game active.

What's the ruling on suspended players?.............One of my defence picks, Wisniewski is suspended for 8 regular season games.........that could hurt............

The ruling is simple. Keep him if you want, but you cannot place him on IR as he is not injured, unless hurting his ego counts. Suspensions are part of the game and it will be up to the GM to decide the player's fate, meaning release or keep.

I would have to say that he (Wisniewski) got hit with the hardest suspension and understand that he will miss 10% of the season.

Keeper League.

I have had some questions regarding shifting of player from lower ranked teams to higher teams near the end of the season. To discourage this the league will be a keeper league. Each team will be allowed to protect up to 5 players. Everyone else goes back into a pool. For drafting, next year the team that finishes last will draft first, snake draft again.

Now for each player from the 5 you refuse to protect you can move up a draft position providing the people ahead of you protect more players. You can only jump a max of 5 positions.

For example

Team A - 100 PTS - Protect 5
Team B - 75 PTS - Protect 3
Team C - 50 PTS - Protect 5
Team D - 25 PTS - Protect 0

Draft Order would be D, B, C, A

If two teams protect the same amount then the team with the least amount of pts will draft higher.

Lastly, by these rules the 2 lowest ranked teams will pick their players. Then all new teams will randomly be picked to draft, then the remaining 4 teams from this year. The draft will be 11 rounds again. Teams with protected players will opt out once their roster is complete. For trade purposes, draft picks from the 7th - 11th rounds are not available for trade during the season.

I believe this should close some possible loopholes.

I noticed something. I verified all positions. At the time of posting everything was ok. P. Sharp has been moved from Center to LW. I will allow him to stay at Center, but I will also allow him to be shifted to LW if the GM wants. However, I will not allow him to be shifted back as he is no longer listed at Center

Sharp is owned. You could have shifted Elias to Center to replace Kessler. So, at this point, Elias is released, and Skinner is at Center. You will need a LW before next game as you now have an incomplete roster.
