Lucy, before you go with your 'gut' feeling, you should analyze the situation and weigh out the pros and cons.
Some scenarios and questions you have to ask yourself, of course this is just one of many possible outcomes.

Fact:
You have always wanted your privacy and not have a full frontal nudity picture of you taken and posted on the net, you might regret the decision if your friends who doesn't know see the pic. You have turned down numerous requests to have a photo shoot with professional photogs.

Pros of being on the show:
You might get recognized and hit it big time with hard work and dedication to not have to escort again. This is purely a hit or miss opportunity, you still might reach stardom and appear in shows here in Canada (think of Nina/Amber). Or you have a casting call over in Europe (Miriam/Victoria) or in the U.S.(documentary or bibliography)

Cons of being on the show:
You get unwanted publicity and the privacy that you know of is shattered (will you be ridiculed or looked down upon?). The porn industry comes a-calling, you take the offer and it is the beginning of a spiral that you cannot stop of the not-so-glittery side the the adult film industry. You meet someone at the show and we lose you to him.

I"ll tell you what really bothers me is that every comment here assumes Lucy is only capable of being what others desire.
When I mentioned opportunities. I was thinking of other things.

I agree that Lucy is more than capable of deciding what is in her best interest, not ours, nor yours. Ultimately Lucy will decide which path is best to take and am sure that she does have the support of everyone on this forum.

Perhaps Shelby you will have the same opportunity as Lucy does (if you so desire) for exposure before you get too much older.

This is a difficult question, but ultimately you will decide what is right for you. Obviously you live as a female, and everything you do is oriented that way. You have friends and interact other people who haven't a clue about your secret - and therein lies the challenge.

Do you want to "come out" now..........is this something you want? I'm finding it difficult to see the advantages for you to go on the show - unless show business, or TG advocacy or modelling etc. is something you intend to persue.

I am sure 99% of the guys on this board who are TG admirerers NEVER discuss their feelings about this with their friends, family or work associates. I'm equally sure that if someone who met you as a genetic girl, might be a little surprised that you have a special something extra. Question is - how would they handle it - and do you care?

Mathematics has an analogy represented by Venn diagrams - the circles that contain intersecting common areas. You have a circle of people who know you're a Tgirrl, and you have others who do not. I assume that occasionally, some who know your secret may interact with those who do not. I would further suggest that those people in the know guard your secret (and maybe theirs too!!) quite well. Probably, that's the way you like it

If you value your privacy, generally enjoy the way things are today and are comfortable with who you are, then I say don't do the show. You don't need change just for change's sake - there should be a purpose to it. If however, you wanted to make a statement, move into the spotlight and declare to the world who Lucy Bisset really is - then do the show.

Either way, I'll still look at you the same way I do now.
