Well....I was hoping people over the past few weeks would be interested in taking a role on an extension of this SPARK thread. m I have this vision for 2013 to do a 2 page layout. Perhaps if people have insight on politics, finance etc etc what i plan could come to fruition. Yes. Halloween is on it way and with it retailers have already begun (some even sooner) to put out merchandise related to the holidays in December....really....really......I just look at where I shop and stare blankly at it all. Soon the time will come where retailers will have "permanent" sections for holiday goods. Please.

Song: Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer Still considered one of the best videos to ever be released. Won a plethora of awards for its creative and technical merit and Peter Gabriel shot to super stardom when his album "So" was released. It was rather hard to follow up after the release of the video. He did try again with others but they didnt have the same awe. The song itself was also an international hit as was as other tracks he had. Gabriel released more similar sounding songs later on and gained a following but over the years he has willingly pushed himself out of the pop music spotlight

Movie: Skyfall The latest James Bond film due out soon in late 2012. I am not watching it as I do not like the new actor or the new direction Bond is going as the franchise now is nothing like past releases but to be fair newer gen audiences are up for a cold hitman like spy and thats ok. The other films with Craig such as casino royale and Quantum of Solace did very well and i suspect this will too. I just refuse to see it but for new Bond fans who haven't seen older Bond films this is for you.

Food for thought:

For months I've woken up to a mysterious, intermittent banging sound coming from somewhere in my home. I can't tell you how many mornings I groggily walked around in my pajamas searching for its cause. Frustrated by my inability to locate the source of the banging, I falsely accused my ancient refrigerator and began seeking a replacement. But then I caught a break. Rising early one morning for reasons urinary, I stumbled across the real source of the strange noise -- a small, yellow-breasted bird living in a tree next to the kitchen window. Periodically, he would fly to the window, furiously peck at it with his beak, then quickly retreat to a nearby branch. At first I assumed that the morning light caused him to see his reflection and, being of limited intelligence, or filled with self-loathing, attack it. But once again, my initial instinct proved to be wrong. After a long conversation with the bird, I learned that he was banging on the window because he had it in for my refrigerator. I have since apologized to the fridge, but it has been, not surprisingly, cool towards me.


Sorry, that really wasn't worth the journey.
