This is a very real situation that Barbie is dealing with. Knowing you trusted someone who could be capable to do these types of crimes. It makes you question so much about yourself, your choices in life and the people who you allow into your life. She really is dealing with a lot of sol searching right now. I have spoken to Barbie many times about this situation and believe me, this has not been easy on her. The pain and emotional stress she is under. It is a side to her that I have never seen before and I feel bad for her because I have/am there right now in my life dealing with my Ex. Maybe it might be nice to view her as a person rather then the image she poetry’s online.
Yes she told her story and got paid. Big deal. They have done there research and I am sure it was only a matter of time before it came out. At least this way she was able to tell her story in her own words. Agree or disagree it is not anyone’s place to judge.
You know if Barbie jumped all over this and tried to use this to gain fame. I would not be so supportive and would not bother to waste my time expressing my feelings or defending her. But she has not done that, for once. This was a very real situation and it should be respected on that level. Would you be making these same rude comments if Barbie was the one who was dead right now? I think not….

It isn't nice to fling shit in someone's general direction without first knowing all the facts. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. Not everything in life is so black and white.Last edited by Ana_Jolie; 07-01-2012, 11:51 AM.

I would rather not thanks. We are a year away from a trial and already I am sick of the media coverage this freak is getting.
Clever bugger though as he has managed to find the fame that escaped him in real life.
Such a sad excuss for a human being.used to be someone else

Most of the people associated with Paul Bernardo and Russell Williams are not and will never be known. This whole "it would have come out anyways" is nonsense. I haven't seen too many stories about Magnotta's parents, ex-boyfriends/girlfriends, etc all looking to sell their stories to the highest bidder after claiming they wanted nothing to do with even being associated by name. Honestly, if you had made a big deal of not even wanting to be name-associated with your ex, and then ended up selling your story, I'd be saying the same thing about you. But the difference is you're not. When an individual pisses their credibility away through years of attention-whoring they must earn the benefit of the doubt, not have it freely given just 'cause.
Barbie is not dead so let's stop playing imaginary hypotheticals in an attempt to garner sympathy. Or we can play all the hypotheticals if you like, many of which you will not like. I served under Captain Russell Williams in 97-98 but you haven't seen me "telling my story" in the paper thanking God that he didn't kill me. Nor the hundreds of other people who served under him when he was a distinguished military officer. Let's leave that garbage to the Inquirer or Star.

When a person deliberately reveals so much of their personal lives in an attempt to gain internet fame they must be prepared for the not so nice stuff as well. I found it nothing short of comical how the week that this story broke she was on here demanding that threads be deleted simply because she was mentioned in the same sentence as Magnotta. She claimed not to want to be affiliated with him. That I can actually understand. And then I read that she went to some paper with her story, because some money was flashed in front of her. Perhaps you can tell me why this isn't simply two-faced behavior? I've got no quarrels whatsoever with judging a person's behavior.
