I do not know the situation with Nina, but I think Barbie's situation is probably different.
Knowing what I know now, I don't blame Barbie at all for taking the cash.
Plus getting some awesome photos to go with it.

The story and her pictures were all over without her consent, in fact practically everything she ever posted on line was being collected by the vultures and pedalled without Barbie's involvement.
She tried to get her pictures and story remove from many sites who ignored her.
So I think she is owed money by many out there but will never see it.
Taking what money she could after the fact, is a wise choice.
Her name and likeness was being profited on by others anyway, why shouldn't she get a cut.
Plus do not blame Barbie in any way for what happened to this family.
Luka alone is responsible for hurting his family, don't forget that.
Barbie did not add anymore to the pile, as she was already inside of it.
She did not approach anyone, they came to her.
I think Barbie should have gotten alot more money based on what other have made on her back.
She never asked for this, only her mouth (or keyboard) got her in this situation.
Lastly, I will say if you attack or fight with Barbie, everyone knows what is going to happen.
