Who are you to say whether the laws and convictions are warranted.
Canada is not the USA.
It has not bearing what this person leaked.

The fact is this person betrayed their duty and country.
They were tried as the law was.

I will also mention that i know a lady in the Canadian Military that is transgender.
She did not make a big scene about her transition, didn't need to.

She started in the armed forces as a man.
When she finally realized she wanted to transition, she waited until her comittment was over.
Then she quit the military, transitioned changed her id and everything to female.

Then she went back and joined the army as a female.

Just because this other person made a mistake in their life, why is everyone else blamed?
