Apparently, the fine folks at the Regina city police are targeting traveling ladies and making life miserable for them.

Rumour has has it that they are targeting those that advertise on BP. I gather they call, make an appointment and then appear at the door with hotel security and evict the traveler, usually in the middle of the night just to be total ass holes about the whole thing.

I was was supposed to enjoy time with one of my favourite ladies last Thursday evening but she was caught in this disgusting sting operation on Wednesday night - well early Thursday morning -and was so upset left town on the first plane out. Who could blame her!

I also hear about the same thing happening to another lovely visitor earlier this year. If you have ever been to Regina, going after beautiful, quiet hotel visitors should be way down on the policing priorities! Maybe the drug-addled, knife wielding street walkers should garner some attention!

I am am disappointed and disgusted. If someone would complain I am sure this is overstepping their bounds! But, the ladies just want to get out and not make a scene.

We are fortunate here in BC to have a very strong civil liberties association.

One travelling escort caused and incident at a hotel in Calgary and since then cops have been all over any TS at that hotel.
Often they cannot even check into the hotel as they are assumed to be doing something illegal.
TS escorts are an easy target because they can often be clocked by staff.

There is no civil right issue at all, most of them are breaking the law.
Almost all these traveling girls are breaking the law by conducting business without a license everywhere they go.

This problem is not exclusive to visiting t-girl escorts it is happening to GG escorts too a few months ago a client said he knew some of the travelling girls were posting in CERB that they were having this happen to them in Regina specifically at the downtown hotels and specifically the Ramada was named.
If anything it could be some of the Escort Agencies who hire local girls and cater to the travelling business men feeling that travelling escorts are cutting too much into their business profits. Or could just be the Hotel Assoc and Chamber of Commerce deciding that travelling girls setting up brothels in their hotel rooms is something they don't want. While hotel guests calling for escorts to come to them is not something they are concerned with.

Interesting comment about the Ramada, I hadn't heard of this happening there. The latest incident happened at the Quality Hotel (an oxymoron if there ever was one) which I had previously heard was "safe". And yes, this us something that is happening to GG's as well.

Sunshine's observations and assumptions align with the private comments I have heard from other unfortunates that have been trapped in this situation but, whatever the cause, the effect is to have quality visitors bypass Regina. That disappoints me. With a few new hotels just east of the city limits and outside of the area controlled by the Regina police I am hoping that the odd, quiet, discreet visitor will stay in those facilities.

Solution found

Just a friendly word to all the traveling girls thinking about going to Regina. First, I'm not making this up - there is definitely someone calling the cops on traveling girls in Regina. Second, there is a great solution. Stay in a hotel in White City, a small town 5 minutes east of Regina on the Trans Canada Hwy. There are two suitable hotels, the Ramada and Sleep Inn. The Sleep Inn is a new hotel and pretty nice. Rooms are clean and large enough for a motel. Since this is a separate city, Regina police do not go to White City. It is patrolled by the RCMP. The person can try all she wants to get you ousted, it won't work.

One precaution I highly recommend when working anywhere in Saskatchewan is to push the prospective client to talk about the sexual things he wants to do with you. I normally avoid this but in Saskatchewan where the police is actively working to stop you, this is a highly effective preventive measure. The police do not want to talk about sex. They'll ask: Where are you located? How much do you charge? Can I come over? When you push for sex talk, they will balk and refuse to answer your questions. That's your signal to hang up and make a note of the phone number. Sure, you might lose a few clients who are too shy to talk about sex but it's a small price to pay for your safety. This way, you don't need to be scared. If you have a doubt about a caller, hang up and move on to the next one.

Regina is a great place to work. Clients are generous and do not balk at a rate of 300 for an hour, which is a reasonable rate for an escort in my opinion. I was very busy during my stay here. I am happy I decided to come here after all and I owe a special client a big thank you for giving me the tip about White City.

Don't let this person stop you from working in Regina!!!!!!!!

What have you got to say about this thread? Are you trying to say there is no trouble with police in Regina? If so, you're a liar. Blatant?
