Regarding your other post, no one is telling you to shut up. They're telling you to grow a thicker skin.
No need to hold back on pics of your girl either. She's hot.

Originally posted by RockheartHong Kong has lots of things to do but other than the bar district, restaurants and businesses to not stay open late there. Finding a place to eat later in the evenings are tough as most close quite early. Compared to Thailand where you can eat well 24 hours a day, it is different. Plus most restaurants hate tips there. One place they scolded us not to leave a tip as we sat down at our table. Another I left some change on the table and they chased us down the street to give the tip back.
It has also been way too expensive there. While Chinese control may make some things worse, it may make hotels and other expensive things cheaper.
If all the British and western influence is erased it may not end up being any different than the rest of China.

At least in terms of freedom of expression etc. I am interested in Singapore next to see how it compares to HK.
My last visit was February, the city was like a ghost town as they already were terrified of Covid and had all those protests for months and months. My hotel prices were pretty good; Wan Chai was deserted , it was quite something to see it so empty. Bar Amazonia which is a fun place even if you don't partake in the sex workers, was desolate.
