So we went back to check into our room around 2pm and we were there for 3 days. We were taken up to our room and we had the Karon Suite which appeared to be the best room in the hotel. It had double doors to enter and was on the top floor over looking Karon Beach and Kata beach. It was only a 10 minute walk to Karon Beach and 5 minutes to Kata Beach, yet the resort was on the top of the hill in a very quiet location.

The room had a full kitchen that was full stocked with dishes and such, plus a kitchen table. There was a big living room with huge windows and a balcony over looking the ocean.
Then there was a bedroom section with a desk then a King sized bed and Jacuzzi both looking out over the second balcony out to the beach.

The bathroom was massive with 2 sinks and lots of storage.
This was an amazing suite and only cost $250 CAD per night. This was expensive for Thailand but not a bad deal for a Canadian.

So we invited Flamingo Farmer and Aum over to our resort for dinner and we all met down at Kata Beach first.
Layla and I had a bite at a beach restaurant while they walked down from their end of the beach.

After the beach we went up to our room to watch the sun set and we ordered some room service and drank out on the balcony.

Then after we ran out of booze, we decided to head down and see what was happening in town. We found this bar nearby that was open even though it was not so busy. The bar had a mixture of ladies and ladyboys working there and there was quite a good selection being this far away from the main beach. We played some pool and had some kiwi daiquiris before calling it a night.

Loy Krathong

The next night was a Thailand holiday called Loy Krathong. Normally this is when everyone sets off paper candle lanterns and goes to the beach to float candles out to sea. However due to the passing of the King, all public Loy Krathong celebrations were suspended.

Our hotel had a Loy Krathong dinner and traditional entertainment. So Flamingo and Aum came over again and we went down for the party. There was great food even a Pad Thai station at the buffet. They had traditional music and dancing and our girlfriends even got up to dance.
Later on we took our candle center pieces and floated them in the hotels pond.

After the party we walked down into town again and went past the bar we were at the previous night to a big alley full of restaurants and bars. It was really quite dead everywhere and Layla randomly picked some bar in the middle of the alley to go for a beer. The bar was dead and just the owner and his buddy were sitting waiting for their guitar player. They had a set up for a band to play but they couldn't actually play due to the mourning period.
So we basically took over the place and the owner eventually let us take over the sound system and we all took turns playing music. Soon we were getting quite drunk and dancing, then Aum started to do cabaret show.
All the other bars were checking us out because we were the most exciting thing on the block.
The owner eventually started buying drinks and invited his wife down to meet us too.

I really like the beach shots and views from the room and the luxurious rooms and the night life and the street life and the map you provided. It really explained things very well as I am a nervous but curious novice about Thailand but grateful for the friendly guide you provide. I'm sorry if this was previously stated but why did Ladyboy Volleyball get cancelled for next year? Seems like a cryin' shame, and it appeared like it would be a popular spectator event and tourist attraction.

Please forgive me, I misspoke previously when I said how I came to know of Danika from your work shooting her (in more ways than one I hope), what I meant to say was that I first started seeking out TS porn in 1999, but later, much later, I saw your work with Danika subsequent to that. I had earlier intended to commend you on your amazing taste but then I realize I should be thanking you for giving me my taste as much of your work has doubtlessly and unknowingly fueled my love of T-Girls given how much phenomenal work you've done. Thailand is great because ladyboys are more normalized that in North America. You can travel with a tgirl with less fear of discrimination or exclusion. Also there is just way more TS in Thailand than anywhere else. So it is easy to meet them and find one that is of your taste. It is far easier to find a ladyboy for a relationship, as they are generally less business like than over here. Part of it is the culture where people are not as obsessed with making money, life counts too.

Thailand seems far and foreign for many but it is not all that bad and a very safe and fun place.
It can be very cheap for most things.
There is always the possibility to meet the ladyboy stars you have seen on the internet, old or new.

The ladyboy volleyball is not continuing since the organizer is retiring.
So it could continue if someone else took over the management, however you pretty much have to live there.
I have considered ways I could do it, but not sure if it was possible.
Even considered fielding a Canada Ladyboy Volleyball team.
We will see what happens.

This was one of the best times to go to Thailand for ladyboys as there was also the Miss International Queen competition the day before the Volleyball tournament in Pattaya. However this year it was cancelled due to the King's Passing.
This is considered the Top ladyboy pageant in the world.

Simon Cabaret Phuket

So our last night in Phuket we decided to so see the Simon Cabaret Show in Patong Beach.
This is a large ladyboy revue show which probably includes 50 ladyboys in the cast.

It is a fantastic show, very entertaining with great costumes and Choreography.
After the show they performers all go outside and pose with people for tips.
I'm also told you can date some of these beauties if you slip them your number with a tip.
Not all will call you but many are interested in finding interested men.

Last year we found the Phuket ladyboy scene a little slow but I think we would have found more beauties if we had of visited this show.

Thailand has these types of ladyboy reviews all over.
In Pattaya there is the famous Tiffany show and also the Alcazar show.
Also they have a dinner boat staffed with ladyboys that has a show in Pattaya.
There is several ladyboy reviews in Bangkok as well, most have quite high production values.

So our time in Phuket was finished and we headed back to Bangkok.
Flamingo Farmer ended up bringing Aum back to Bangkok as she had some appointments there and to continue the party with us, even though things are much quieter than the beginning of our trip.

Since we both had dates we checked in to a quieter hotel that was a little further from the center of the action in Nana.
It was in the Asoke area which is one skytrain stop down from Nana.
It was the Grande Mercure Asoke Residences that were five star apartments.
We both booked Executive suites but for some reason they did not have one for me and gave me a lesser suite for one night. It was a hassle but Once we got into the proper suite it was good.

It was a huge fully equipped suite for about $180 CAD per night.
It was in a nice quiet area but right beside a huge shopping mall and walking distance to most stuff.
Washer, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, huge dining room, living room and balcony.

The next day we took a trip to Panthip Plaza where they have all the electronics shops.
It used to be a good place to go to find cheap software but now it isn't that great.
I noticed they don't have sticker prices on stuff in most places and I have heard they charge foreigners more.
At another mall in Bangkok most of the stores had price stickers on stuff.

Also noticed an A & W Restaurant which I have never seen in Thailand before. The only thing the same as Canada on the menu is root beer.
After shopping we went for "kai mon gai" (Chicken and Rice). These restaurants are very busy and mainly server only chicken and rice, it is very good and very cheap.
After that we took a tuk tuk back to the hotel.
