NHL Playoffs

i know some of you here are fans, who do you think is taking it this year? I dont know if Washington chokes again like they always do, they look pretty strong front to back this year. Pittsburgh got hot at the right time. the west is so hard to pick with so many good teams...i guess if i had to chose, i'd say Hawks or Stars and Caps or Panthers in the finals I'm an Arizona fan myself so my team is rebuilding, but playoff hockey is still great.

I'd have to go with the Hawks but usually I am only into Canadian teams, so I am not too enthusiastic about it.
I used to be a Philly fan but they disillusioned me long ago.
Mostly i like Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary.

I think the hockey talk died off here due to there being no Canadian teams in the playoffs.
We used to have a hockey pool for a year or two.

i support my favourite team and i always believe in them and it has brought them from the bottom to the pacific division champions. Its the Ducks year this year

yeah, i grew up watching the old jets as a kid so it kinda just stuck with me from a young age. no reason to be down with no Canadian teams in the playoffs, just remember every American team is still at least 60% Canadian players lol

St. Louis - Washington Final.

Dallas: does not have the Defense or goaltending. This is a team that could get upset in round one. Weak defense and they are playing a team that doesn't make many mistake and is use to not scoring much.

Pens: don't have DEFENSE or goaltending...first round out

St Louis: finally beats Chicago this year

Minnesota: don't have the team to win it, out first round

Detroit: Hanging on to a time past. Done, coin toss between them and Tampa....either way, neither one beats Florida in round 2.

Florida: first team in the playoffs in years. Need to learn to win. Out conference finals. Injuries to Tampa, weak Detroit, And NYI teams. Easy path. Will lose to Washington

Rangers: Have key injuries. Down in the second round to Washington

Islanders: one player team...down first round

Tampa Bay: key injuries-- will be lucky to get out of the first.

philly: what? Philly is in the playoffs? Can you believe that? Congrats you play Washington. Out in the first round.

chicago: deep team but So are the Blues. A lot of games played. Chicago goes down in the first. You heard it here first.

San Jose: lol...Joe Thornton is the greatest playoff choker ever....out first round.

Nashville: it's hard to score in the Playoffs. Nashville cant score in the regular season. but they are playing Dallas....a team with weak defense. Nashville takes Dallas.

LA- solid team. St. Louis takes them in the conference finals.

It's funny. I never met a single Chicago fan before 2009. Maybe it was that 49 year Stanley Cup Drought....who knows.

Just remember not to fall off the bandwagon when the road gets bumpy.

I got to agree with you there about most Hawks fan; however I was a fan even through the ugly years. Back as far as Pierre Pilot as captain and Reggie Fleming as their enforcer.

I've always liked Chicago's (allegedly) culturally insensitive logo, so I can ride their wagon.
Plus Tony Esposito was one of my favourite goalies, next to Gump Worsley

That was an awesome first game, tons of action.
LA came out strong but the sharks were incredible!

I will be honest. I made a mistake. Min is playing dallas, and Nash play Ana. Ana down in the first. Dallas take min.

Anaheim is not winning the cup this year.
