The Pens....

Only a few things to mention.

The Pens will go much further than expected! Do not be surprised if you see them at least...playing in conference final...or the finals. The trades are finally paying off...I'm not just talking about Kessel.

Hawks are STILL a great team. If they win the cup this year only then I would say dynasty. However...I always liked the Blues, they've been around a long time...maybe this is the year for that first cup!? Not to mention...loaded with Canadian born players!

Seen someone crapping over Big Joe...yet again! Joe has NOT been the SJ playoff non-performaner problem in the last 5 years...the problem is an underperforming TEAM with Joe being the ONLY ONE carrying his weight. Does anyone ever ask "where the f--- was Patrick Marleau?!" Or "why can't Joe's great play inspire the rest of the team to GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!!" Then there's Joe Pavelski...most underrated player in the NHL. He'll have a great playoff! Unless you're the goalie (who can steal a game, a series, a cup...like Patrick Roy in Montreal) ONE MAN CANNOT CARRY A TEAM!! How many of you are aware that Big Joe was second to only Sydney Crosby in points for the last 55 games this year? Yes...even more than Kane although Kane racked up a zillion points in the last 2 games. I know...playoffs are a whole new season!

LA...definately not the team that won a Stanley Cup, this will not be their year.

Caps have more Canadian players then they've ever had...coincidence in their success...I THINK NOT!!! OV is the second best player on this team...take out Backstrom...no goals for OV. Goalie will have to carry them. However, with the Caps depth Philly are not the team to stop the Caps.

Dallas...most fun team to watch. Kinda remind me of the old Oilers, strong kick ass offence...defence is a little better than most give them credit. But...they are no Oilers lol! Dallas should be out of round one unscathed and rested for round two. I wouldn't want to be the team to play them!

I didn't mention Anaheim...that's ok. Two of the teams I mention are going to play for the cup.

Last nights game was co close the Ducks dominated the 3rd the preds got lucky with those two bounces and the one missed shot by perry. I will always believe in the Ducks no matter what. i knew the sharks were gonna take LA though. ive always hated nashville and the sharks are taking them out in 5.

the ducks used too much energy to recover from that first month. That's why I didn't take them to get past the first.

When SJ and Nash will meet, Nash has much stronger goaltending. I have this theory of always betting against Joe Thornton in the 2ns round.

i think the ducks should think about moving Perry and Geltzaf now while the value is high. They value is only going to decline from this point on, and if you look at other players from the same draft, you will notice a significance decline in both production and performance.

St. Louis - Washington Final.

Dallas: does not have the Defense or goaltending. This is a team that could get upset in round one. Weak defense and they are playing a team that doesn't make many mistake and is use to not scoring much.

Pens: don't have DEFENSE or goaltending...first round out

St Louis: finally beats Chicago this year

Minnesota: don't have the team to win it, out first round

Detroit: Hanging on to a time past. Done, coin toss between them and Tampa....either way, neither one beats Florida in round 2.

Florida: first team in the playoffs in years. Need to learn to win. Out conference finals. Injuries to Tampa, weak Detroit, And NYI teams. Easy path. Will lose to Washington

Rangers: Have key injuries. Down in the second round to Washington

Islanders: one player team...down first round

Tampa Bay: key injuries-- will be lucky to get out of the first.

philly: what? Philly is in the playoffs? Can you believe that? Congrats you play Washington. Out in the first round.

chicago: deep team but So are the Blues. A lot of games played. Chicago goes down in the first. You heard it here first.

Anahiem: I think this team peaked too early. Out in the second round vs LA

San Jose: lol...Joe Thornton is the greatest playoff choker ever....out first round.

Nashville: it's hard to score in the Playoffs. Nashville cant score in the regular season. but they are playing Dallas....a team with weak defense. Nashville takes Dallas.

LA- solid team. St. Louis takes them in the conference finals.

I'm calling STL - WSH final as well, but NYI - STL would be awesome too.

Getzlaf can still produce I don't see the need to move him now and perry is too valuable to lose right now unless they can get someone equality as good. They don't need to build right now they are still strong they just need better direction in the playoffs
