no its not stupid, calgary is the fastest growing city, every hq company is here, its a very rich city, i seen about 10 bentlys in the last 2 months, i moved from toronto. only seen 2 there my whole life.

No one really knows the answer to that. The fact of the matter is that in some parts of Albeta there is such labour shortages that they are paying people $15 an hour to work at Tim Hortons. I heard this from a fellow Albertan, but he said only in certain areas. Calgary and the rest of Alberta is in fact growing at a rapid pace due their oil mines and other big industries, yet the rest of the world is not catching up with as fast as they can grow. Toronto is built up, stable and still continuously growing and just happened to be before Calgary or Edmonton. Both your cities in fact do very well, but the truth is that it will take quite a while before everyone catches on and comes down. People are very simple and if they don't know Canada to well and you ask them do you want to live in Calgary or Toronto, the name is so popular that everyone is drawn to Toronto. Having that said I have seen a few escorts who are in Alberta and some quite good looking, maybe not quite the amount here but you have much better fortune than those in PEI, New Brunswick, Nunavut, Yukon, Sakatchewan and many others I have not mentioned, so don't get so down on yourself. Edmonton is close in size to Calgary, Edmonton is the largest in area of all the major cities in Canada.
Sudbury I believe is the largest city in area in Canada.
Toronto 5 million
Montreal 4 million
Vancouver 2.5 milliion

Now the reason there is not many Tgirls there.

For the last 30 years the majority of people moving there have been men looking for work.
As a result Calgary is a real redneck cowboy town, not gay or TG friendly at all.
Lots of men few of whom are becoming women.
There is no TS bars and only one or two gay bars, so there is not a tgirl community or hangout to speak of.

There is also very few ts escorts partly for many of the reasons above.
Also it is much easier for a tgirl to make a good living and go to school in Calgary due to all the money there.
It may not be necessary to look to make extra money escorting because of this.

hate to contradict you Craigyb, but Calgary is nowhere near 1.5 million or will be in the near future. It just hit 1 million last summer, and the metropolitan area only adds about 80,000 to that number. I also doubt it is the fastest growing city. Look at places like Vegas, now that is crazy growth.

Yes i could no longer find the real prices for escort licenses on the Calgary Website.
But worse than the cost of licensing is that getting the license means a criminal check by the Calgary Police,
pretty much announcing they are coming and leaving the possibility of refusal.

It will never be Toronto, or Montreal, or Vancouver, or even Halifax, regardless of what its population is, or how fast it's growing, or how rich it becomes. No different than Dallas will never be New York or Chicago.

There's a certain mindset that Toronto has that Cow Town will never have.

Calgary is in Alberta, Alberta is very conservative, very right wing, very American'ish.
