and if backpage were to come back (I know it won?t or at least from how it seems) they better have the balance like it was left or stay closed...

Big website owners should beware. The reason this happened is the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act. This changed the way websites do business, as all websites are responsible for all content including user content on their websites. Foreign website owners are safe unless they enter the US in which they can be prosecuted. These laws were not only passed to shift liability to the website, but also to prevent the next ?Backpage? as Backpage replaced Craigslist.

Yes they are...but unlike The US, we have better things to waste resources on. If the FBI and the RCMP get together maybe there is an issue but unless drugs or human trafficking is the reason they won?t waste resources on a sting or bust. Then our canadian law creates a huge issue. By Canadian Law, the client is the criminal. Could you imagine what could happen if a high end escort reveals her client list? How many politicians get pulled into a scandal?

Also, via this logic....the website is at fault, the client is at fault but the girl is not? What? This is the best our last government came up with...a completely illogical law.

Better idea, strike down the laws and collect your tax money...

Well ******* is ok.. they currently don't charge for TG ads.. But they keep charging GG's more and more without really providing anything new or better..

I don't approve of charging for ads.. Ads are valuable and should be rewarded.. that's why my new site https://XXXList.ca has a built in reward system for users posting ads.. It also has a verification option so users can have their profiles verified..

Ads should be free like on SMC but too many girls bought into paid ads when we all should have ignored them..

We should only post ads where it's free so those sites are #1
