What if customers had no choice of SP but must accept whatever provider who would be chosen somehow, by some source? Then there would be something to really complain about - right? Would the current complainers care to see themsel_ves told they could not choose who to see? No answer is needed!

Every one here, including the thread starter certainly has made his own decision as to who he prefers to see, whether they be tall, short, asian, black, white etc. and rules out those he does not care to associate with. I understand Shelby's preference, we all have them. I can also see the other side. For centuries black people were denied service because of their skin colour. I am don't know how it must feel to be a black person and see an ad that says caucasians only or caucasians preferred. I am guessing it isn't pleasant. In case I wasn't clear about what I was saying...I'm not calling anyone racist. I don't think it applies in this case. Look. I tried to stay away from this thread. I posted because I was disappointed/hurt/sad when I read what was posted in Shelby's ad. I am well aware of everyone's right to freedom of choice in all aspects of life (sexual preference included) so please don't pontificate.

I read something, I was sad, I posted. End of story. I don't have anything against Shelby personally, understand her right to choose who she sees etc. Try to put yourself in the shoes of someone experiencing a prejudice and you'll understand (possibly) how one might feel reading what the ad said.

i beg to differ,most people are racist assholes in the big cities like Toronto and most of the U.S. you just told us that,i dont see what you see cause i live in a small town but im very aware of what happens in the rest of the world.my hubby is columbian and indian mixed and drives a mercedes suv and doesnt get pulled over cause some cop sees he looks like a mexican or a columbian drug dealer and probably stold the truck lol.all i know is if i were born back id be very proud of it maybe cause im attracted to dark skin i dunno i just used tgirl perdudism cause its a tgirl site and i know the girls in the big cities have a very hard time even the most beautifull so it does exist in our world.i have a friend in columbus ohio who is black and shes one of the most passable youll ever see and she told me once they find out shes a tgirl they hate on her like theres no tommorrow and i was in shock thinking to myself how can someone so beautifull both inside and out be hated on but i guess its just the shitty world in witch we live.when i was about 10 we had a black family move in beside us here in brantford this was back in the 70s,they were the first blacks to move here and someone or something burned there house to the ground and my parent moved thm into our house with all us 10 kids and there 3 kids and they stayed for about 8 months and we took alittle heat at school and got into alot of fights because of what my parents did but to us we were all family and we all stuck together so at a young age i wasnt able to see the hatret other people had to me i see no colour only beautty and thats that.
