The WHO response is obviously echoing the Swedish response to covid which some other European countries are now looking at adopting.

WHO, FIFA, IOC, UN ...these euro centric organizations; they are all structured the same way. A social club for leaders and their appointees to have nice lunches and dinners and hotels; and selling their nations integrity to get votes in order to get those spots. Corrupt governments all around the world thrive on the western nations desperation to move up the ladder in those clubs..

One can not get to be the head of these things without a lot of dirt. The WHO leader has a resume that would put most of us in jail.

I cheered when Trump poked his finger in the eye of the UN. After WWII the UN was a good organization that actually did some good around the world and still does i.e. WFP, UNHCR, etc. However, it is now a big social bullshit club for tinpot dictators and other authoritarian regimes. It is now fucking useless. Look at what happened in Rwanda and Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia. Where was the UN then. Sitting in NYC wringing its hands and talk, talk talk, while tens of thousands were being systematically murdered.
