    Re: Admiration and respect

That's fair MacX. I disagree with your point on limited employment options - employment is a question of job skills and being able to get the job done. Sex & sexual orientation do not figure into this. If a person, be it TS, gay, lesbian, straight, male, female has the skills, that person will find themself gainfully employed by some company.

On the topic of relationships, I agree. Any TS will inevitably find it difficult to be in a "normal" relationship. I have no solution to this other than the (admittedly lame sounding) idea to keep soldiering on. Gays & lesbians had it tought for the longest time. Let's face it - it's only in recent times (last 10 years or so) that being gay / lesbian is "OK". (Even now though it's not always OK, but at least it is generally acceptable.) I think in time, TS will be in a similar situation. (I sure hope they will be!)

Hey MacX, I'd be curious to know more specifics of the incident your
described. Let's not tarnish all P.O's with a big brush.
I'm a big fan of the lady's on this board, but find that
story of the cop a bit hard to believe. I'm sure they
face extreme difficulties in day to day world, but that
story seems a bit vague. If its true, I've got your back
stating that the girls need our support!!

I agree with mac X..tedder - you're crazy if you think that a ts girl has as many employment opportunities as the rest of us. You try putting on a dress and a wig and walking intyo a job interview in a fortune 5 hundred company. See how welcome you feel.
