In this case I would suggest you start with some crossdressing, then once you feel comfortable dressing a woman maybe try going out in public.
Apply and repeat

I say bullshit. I am a MAN, I will always be, sure I'm 99% girl, but not "trapped inside a man's body". This is known in the DSM-IV-TR as "Gender identity" disorder. To make it a true "disorder" and not a "trait" is when it impairs your daily functioning of life.
You have to taste the reality.
Its not a bad thing.
A t-girl is unique; that one in 1,000, she who is not 100% she. I think thats where the appeal comes from.
Being something I never can... Can you ask for anything more?
I wouldn't want to be a true female.
Think...
Fin.

Seems most of the tgirls on here don't actually have Gender Identity Disorder, or anything of the like.
I guess I'm confused on why some of you got into the life of living as a female, breast implants, etc.?
Personally I went to a shrink, got documentation of gender Identity Disorder/Transsexuality, got perscribed hormones, and so on as I've always felt I was born with female brain-male body, but this doesn't seem to be the case with a lot of you? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just very curious about this.
Maybe it's just me, but calling myself a man would cause much mental anguish, as I don't feel a birth defect should force me to live me life as someone I definitly am not(ie. male).

Rose...first of all, we have to accept who we are spiritually..and then make some body's adjustment necessary in order to look as similar as our spirit.
So, spiritually you are a woman or at least for the most part.
Now, look at your physicall atributes..how's your body..? Is it slim, smooth with good porpotion..? (if the answer is yes, the transition will be much easier) Is it a little heavier...? (then we have to work out something).
Don't go too far though...just make sure that you are physically as close as you are spiritually
In order to look like a woman, there are simple physical rules that easy to follow: we are smoother, lighter, no body hair, and not bald (there is a proven medical treatment in order to help balding nowadays). We then adjust our behaviour accordingly.
I like LadyMissKier"s comment too. It seems that she has found the right balance between woman and man in her...like myself.
So, simple rule here: in order to be beautiful and attractive physically and spiritually..we have to find the right balance within us.
Some tgirls go as far as sex-reconstructive surgery in order to be happy. Some are just happy being girly and feminine without any of these enhancement, surgery, or/and therapy.
They are all fine as long as that is really what they want to be.
So, be yourself..your trueself....you will be the happiest that way!
cheers,
Tia

Congrats..you definitely have made the right choice!
Despite your young age..you shows grace, intellegence, happiness, and wisdom.
So you are at your happiest life because you have made the best decision..to change yourself to a real woman.
So, i guess my advice does not apply to you, but probably it will work for tab132

So you are not a true transsexual then Lady Kier, you are maybe a shemale or a tgirl or a transvestite or a crossdresser or a man in womans clothes or a man who likes to feel like a woman, or even just a man.
If this person felt they were a woman trapped in a man's body, then I would say they are transsexual. AND in that case would have recommended seeing a doctor first to determine a strategy.
However if the only goal is to be a shemale/tgirl but no change genders, then i would suggest starting off with some crossdressing, which is what I prescribed.

Lisa, Kier and Barbie have both called themselves men, Kier a few posts up(Which Craig noticed also), and Barbie regularily does in her little "blog" posts. Doesn't effect you though, as you already dislike both of them it seems lol.
Craig you read my mind about this subject, I just don't understand the shemale/tgirl motivation without actually being transsexual. I was curious about their motivation.

Yes.
BS on what?
Technically I don't "believe" that you can be a woman trapped in a man's body; we have different chromosomes. Figuratively speaking you may feel that way. Having both a mind and background in science and medicine, I tend to think about the physiological aspect before the personal.
Does the brain make the mind, or does the mind make the brain?
But I don't "believe" in god. I can't prove that he(or she?) exists, nor can I prove that god doesn't exist.
Mixing science and philosophy can be a double edged sword.
I think there is only one person in the world; me, and every one else is just an actor in this interactive mind game.
