You made me curious Craig. Just for the heck of it I checked a couple of flights at comparable times to To., one from the Sault and one from Wpg. The results - flying out of the Sault cost more for travelling half the distance, than flying out of Winnipeg


Sault to To. @ $495 for about half the distance vs Winnipeg to To. @ $455 I don't know the exact air mileage but I know that if I am flying West from Toronto I fly over the Sault a little over an hour after leaving To. on a two and a half hour flight. On a good day I can see my car parked at the Sault airport.
