  • Still on top!

Just a quick reminder that Nikki is still schooling all your collective asses in the hockey pool.

    That is all.

    • That's because I'am not in it. Let's be honest, you stick to painting your nails and leave sports to the men.

        Ooooh, dem's fightin' words!

Hmmm, I guess that means the six "men" in the pool should look into a nice set of French Tipped Ultra-gels (or whatever the hell they're called) 'cause then, they'd have an excuse for getting smoked so bad. . .

Who needs pretty nails when you know how to use a spreadsheet?

        • Is it me or are the Leafs systematically trying to get to teh bottom of the barrel? C'mon, Kulemin and Stepniak get to shoot in a shootout? Seems pretty obvious since the new GM showed up.

              Two words: John Tavares.

I'm in a few I think. So I am hoping the answer is yes. And thanks if it is me. LOL.

I'm not sure I want Tavares. I've seen him play often and I personally find him lazy. But if he is the best of the barrel, then let's hope.

And look at Stamkos, playing with Lecavalier and still not doing amazing.

I'm sure we won't win the lottery though. It's not our destiny.

I was somewhat disappointed in Schenn at first but the last two games he layed out teams best players. Gotta love when he hit that prick Ryan Smith, and then he creamed Malkin. Big hits, maybe two of the best hits this year. Too bad he can't score except in the Young Guns game.

                        • I'm getting used to being on top

I wonder how I could possibly be more arrogant about this. . . maybe by revealing my awesome strategy, which guaranteed me victory since day 1?

One single category is responsible for over 50% of my overall points. It's the reason I drafted Eric Staal instead of Joe Thornton, and kept Ed Jovonovski instead of Brian Rafalski. . .

Shots On Goal. I did a quick Excel analysis of last year's stats, and drafted my team exclusively around that category. Once I saw everyone else's rosters, I knew I couldn't possibly lose. Even injuries haven't slowed me down - guys get hurt, but there are plenty of players to take their place.

Madchild gave me a bit of a challenge early on, so when I lost Olli Jokinen, I picked up Madchild's best forward (Sidney Crosby) to eliminate his Crosby advantage. Same thing with Mike Green, replaced by Sheldon Souray (Madchild's best defenseman). I picked Green back up just as went on that crazy goal-scoring streak, because Rafalski wasn't getting any shots; Vanek breaks his jaw, and there's Jeff Carter waiting to get snatched up.

I guess I'd better start creating a website for my three months of banner advertising - not to mention all the free beer I'm getting from Admin!

On that note, I put up some new pics on my Shemalecanada ad, feedback would be appreciated.

What do you say, Lisa? Looking forward to visiting Toronto for the Stanley Cup Playoffs?

Nikki. Love the new portfolio you have up on shemales canada. In response to your comments I have to say there is 1 picture that stands out. The one that I find is really striking is the one of you sitting on the park bench. I've always said that seeing photos/portraits of people in everyday settings is more appealing than snapshots taken behind a white background in a studio. Then there is the whole photoshop topic which I won't get into OMG.

The park bench shot shows your entire body for starters and is centered very well. Something else I enjoy is how you convey warmth in the smile which reflects back on the frigid surroundings. You know : "Cold day with a warm friendly smiling girl" Well, that's what I got out of it. The lighting is ok.

Of course another favorite shot of mine which is not new is the portrait photo of you in a black blouse looking up. Reason for that is I've always loved stills of the face more than anything regardless if it's painting, movies, etc...I can't really explain why.

                                Ok. That's all I got.

                                Cheers
