I’ve been doing this for 2 years. I’ve relied so much on clients saying they would show up here in Ottawa. And never do. They not only wasted my time but I lost out money to do the things I needed pay my mortgage, bill, put funds towards transitioning. Now I’m 3 weeks away from for-closure. I had a week not long ago, 150 numbers messaged me, not one client showed. So people’s word means shit. They don’t care about us. I changed the way I do business, I have my own website, and app on dine in. No number to text, no email to email. You choose the time you want, the service you want book and checkout(pay) on the website. I get the notification right to my phone calendar and my address is on the app.
Because cash clients. Or etransfer when they get here. No guarantee for me. I’m an honest girl, who will do whatever you want. But for me to be in this position where I can’t even go get groceries. I think it’s rare that these girl make 10000$ a month. Maybe when they started

Are you so dense that you can't understand a correlation to show a point of view? Where do you draw the line at giving things away for free versus having to pay for it. Do you give away your product for free? Then why the fuck should the sites that provide the advertising? They are in "BUSINESS", and that means trying to earn money for the service they provide. Why should they lose money? This has absolutely nothing to do with not being empathetic. Are the grocery stores showing no empathy, being cruel, and belittling all the shoppers because they raised the price of lettuce when the times dictate that they need to do that to keep themselves from losing money?
