i thought this thread might just examplify some of the awkward situations that transgendered people go through just to live their lives they were made.
personally i thought perhaps there should be a protest or something. the washroom issue can actually be a very serious issue for a transman or woman where they may get assaulted if they went into the washroom of their birth gender. i know in fact that this has happened. sooooo rather than venting about how nice we are in canada about diabled people perhaps we should realise the trans rights in canada have not be ratified. yes there will always be people that will take advantage of any system but that does not mean those who truely need our help should suffer because of the 'cheaters'. and besides all that how do we make a judgement as to wether someone is disabled? how do we qualify and quatify that?

but lets get back to the real issue trans rights must be brought to the front and must be addressed by governments and corporations and all of us.

i tell ya what go put on a dress and go out shopping or do groceries and see what its like ok,not everyone looks beautifull and or passable and people can be pretty freakin mean to anyone whos different period.if i had a buck for everytime i grabs some guy or girl by the throat cause they laughed or made a joke early on in my transition id be rich.not all trans have my temper nor can they back it up and there not as strong mentally and phsically as i am so what happens it plays on there mind day after day night after night if thats not dabilitating then i dont know what is.if ya wanna bitch about taxes do it to the government who lets all these freakin assholes in my country from all over the world,how many terrerist are living in canada?look no further than the tammels who desided to cost everyone money when they decide canada isnt doing enough and the rest of the fucks who come here from 3rd world countries on welware,thats where your anger should be not at some poor girl who probably finds it very hard to walk out her door.

i have to disagree with the points you made. if someone knows that they are in the wrong body and decide to transition then they really have no choice. they have to live comfortably with who they are. they dont dress in clothes opposite to their birth gender becuase they LIKE to and get some kind of sexual thrill over it. the issue here is that they have NO choice. they did not ask for this life.
i dont think Lisa meant to say that transgendered people are 'disabled'. if you read the article in the sun i believe it said that not only was this person a transgendered woman but she was also disabled because of an illness unrelated to her gender. i might suggest that you do a bit of reading about transegendered people. while 'tgirls' could be seen as a sexual thrill there is so much more involved.
